CHAPTER 6 REAL TALK

Kassy lay on the bed in the room joined to Tahlia's, her belongings were already unpacked and put away. Kassy decided to try and mind link her mother, she had never tried from this kind of distance before, her mother had the ability so she thought she would give it a try.

 "Ma can you hear me" almost immediately Leah responded

 "Baby look at you being all bad ass with your mind link, honey I am so proud". 

Kassy let out a sigh 

"Well I made it and yes Wade is still alive, I have a new bestie named Ben he is Hot Ma and unmated unfortunately he's not my mate"  Leah giggled at her daughter then replied

 "Honey you need to be careful with that we do not feel the mate bond the same but Wade does so watch out or you may have a dead best friend"

"I know Ma, I am staying with aunt Tahlia, I opted out of sharing space with Wade and Cilla, I did ask to stay in the Harem so no one would know I was mated to Wade, Aunt Tahlia was convinced you would blow up the kingdom if she allowed it" Kassy was giggling now re telling the story.

"Don't you just love her, Honey I have to go, but know I miss and love you, If you need to talk about Cilla at all let me know sweet heart"

"I miss you guys like crazy but don't worry being with aunt Tahlia feels like home, Ma I love and will be fine" with that Kassy broke her link.

Tahlia was standing at the door way looking curiously at Kassy

 "Button were you just mind linking,?" 

"Yup I was talking to Ma" 

"OMG button that is incredible, I mean the first time I saw your mother do it over distance blew me away and now you can, how amazing"

"It's been kind of part of our training, but it's the first time I have tried over such a distance, I am hoping I get good enough to be able to contact my siblings, then I would have no need for a cell phone. Kassy replied.

"Button we have an hour before dinner can we talk about Cilla? I will answer all your questions including why we allowed it" Tahlia asked

"Actually that would be great, so for starters tell me her story Aunty, how did she end up with Wade and what about her true mate?" Kassy asked.

"Okay so Cilla's true mate rejected her, she did not accept the rejection straight away but he continued to bring pain through the bond till finally she had no choice but to accept, 

She was granted a second chance mate 3 months later unfortunately he died the night before their mating ceremony, he was killed by hunters. 

Cilla was near death when Wade found her, she was part of the Ridge Mountain pack, she is actually the Alpha's daughter. Wade was visiting to try and help with the hunters, Alpha Nolan asked Wade to bring her back to the palace doctors as their healers were having no luck with her". Tahlia paused feeling a little emotional re telling Cilla's story.

"Any way button Wade helped to nurse her back to health, the two of them fell in love and Cilla could not face returning to her pack, it only brought back bad memories. 

That is when Wade made the decision to make her his chosen mate, we all agreed, but forgot what it would mean for Wades true mate or mates. As you know we as Damien's Mates are all true mates like your fathers, however as Royalty, the Males of the blood line can take chosen mates, as you know this only really happened when true mates were unable to produce an heir. We all neglected to remember that, so Wade and Cilla's bond was accepted".

"Aunty I didn't notice, nor did I pick up her scent mixed with his but I am assuming he has not Marked her" 

"No Button he has not, they had planned on marking each other on his return from your Pack, but when Damien found out he had found his true mate, then found out it was you button he made the decree that Wades true mate would decide when they could Mark each other, to give you the time you need to prepare for the pain, I mean, it could also cut your Mate Bond with him, we really don't know what will happen"

" I am pretty sure Aunt as long as Wade and I are not Marked or Mated I will be fine if they go ahead, I know he is your son Aunt but if it cuts our bond I will truly be okay, my concern is for Cilla, If by some miracle Wade and I decide to Mate and Mark each other, I do not think Cilla would survive," Kassy replied.

"For her Aunt it would be like an unspoken rejection would it not". Kassy asked.

"You could be right button, that is too tragic"

"To be upfront Aunt if I could reject him, I would, but we trust in the Moon Goddess and the decisions she makes for us, the mate bond for us is sacred so rejection from our end is just not possible, I am also aware that Royals are also forbidden to reject their true mates, so the option of rejection is off the table"

The two women sat in silence for a while, she noticed tears falling down Tahlia's face.

"Aunty if it helps, from what you told me about Cilla the choice you all made sounds like the right one, I am not sad and like I said before I have absolute trust in the Moon Goddess she knows what she is doing, so lets leave this to her, what do you say?"

Tahlia embraced Kassy "Button you are truly amazing, too put others before yourself  especially at our age you will make an amazing Luna"

Just then a knock at the door came, Tahlia wiped her tears and yelled "enter", A little red head maid about Kassy's age entered letting them know dinner was ready. The maid glared at Kassy which made her giggle as the maid was about to leave Kassy stopped her " Hey Red come back please" Tahlia looked at Kassy unsure what she was up to but stayed silent. 

The red head stopped turned and looked at Kassy "How can I help you Miss?" 

"So first off what's with the glare, you don't even know me and secondly feel free to speak your mind, I am sure Queen Tahlia is fine with honesty even if it isn't nice" Kassy replied.

The red head was a little shocked at Kassy but Kassy knew she was bold enough to be honest.

"Miss we have been told that you returned with the Prince and will be made a part of his Harem, I have been waiting a year for such an opportunity, so forgive me for not liking you at all" the Red head said with confidence and distain. 

Tahlia was a little taken back by her maids response she had never seen this vindictive side to her before.

"Look Red not that it's any of your business, but I am not here to join the Harem, I also have to let you know that the Princes Harem will be made obsolete once he has marked his mate Miss Cilla, Once that has happened you can let all your little friends who like to gossip know he is off limits and you can all stop dreaming, Is that clear enough for you Red"

The maid scoffed "Who are you to make that decision, only the prince can" 

"Oh dear Red you seriously need to get your lane, I am the Princes Royal Advisor and have the Mandate granted by the Alpha of all Alpha's to make such decisions, so I hope that clears that up and Red before you go if you ever glare at me or Miss Cilla ever again, you will have to face me in the combat ring and just know I am from the Blood Moon Pack, so you might want to stop".

The Maid turned pale and showed her neck as a sign of submission to Kassy. 

Kassy could see the fear in eyes and had to stop herself from laughing. Tahlia then let the maid leave. 

"You my little button are a very clever girl"

"Super Natural Ninja Bad Ass at your service Aunt" Kassy replied laughing.

"We better let Damien and Wade know you new title" Tahlia responded laughing.

The Moon Goddess was listening in she was so very pleased with what she heard, she now knew Leah's bloodline was safe in the hands of the next generation. "Super Natural Ninja Bad Ass's Indeed" the Moon Goddess thought as she smiled down on Kassy.
