CHAPTER 8 MARKED AND A MAD MAMA

After dinner everyone retired to their rooms except Samson, Saul and Kassy, the boys wanted to catch up with her. These three had a love for music that equaled each others so finding them hidden in the Royal garden Jamming together was a normal practice.

"So Kas who are you listening to these days" Saul asked as they sat in their little hide away. 

"I am still in love with old school stuff but a couple of years ago I discovered an artist called Yebba a.k.a Abbey Smith she sings my all time fave song evergreen, have either of you heard it?" Kassy asked.

"No but sing us a bit" they replied

Kassy began to sing, the boys were mesmerized by her, Kassy all of a sudden stopped looked at the boys kissed them on the cheeks and quickly excused herself. She flew into Tahlia's suite and hit the floor with aloud thud. Tahlia quickly made her way out of bed and rushed to Kassy's side placing her head on her lap.

"Button what's wrong sweet heart" Tahlia asked panicked 

"They have Marked each other Aunty but the bond is not breaking something else is happening something extremely painful" 

Kassy clutched her chest and was fighting to remain conscious. The door flew opened and Damien rushed in and picked Kassy up off the floor and lay her on Tahlia's bed.

"Leah just mind linked me Tahlia, she felt Kassy's pain, she said the bond is not breaking rather it is being deleted from existence which is bad very bad it could actually kill her if she falls into a state of unconsciousness we must keep her awake" King Damien said with tears falling down his cheeks watching his button fighting for her life.

Kassy didn't make a sound she just fought the darkness with all that was in her. After hours of fighting Kassy began to get tired, she had been sitting in an ice cold bath in the arms of King Damien begging her to hold on. 

Just as she was about to give up the Moon Goddess appeared to her lovingly stroking her hair.

"Little one listen to me carefully, Orion is the creator of the Bonds, I determine who should be bonded and he creates the bonds and then I attach them to souls that make you complete, Orion is beyond furious with your mate because of the absolute gift that you are, he tried to erase your bond but to do that successfully he must travel back in time which none of us have the power to do, he has realized his mistake and is now trying to fix it. However I know he will not succeed, so to save your life and for the first time ever I must ask you now to Mark him and allow him to Mark you it is your choice little one but it really isn't your time to come join me"

With that Selene disappeared.

 Kassy opened her eyes "U u u ncle Wade I need Wade" Within seconds Damien had Mind linked  Wade. Wade was in the bathroom in no time looking at his dying mate in his fathers arms.

"M m m ark me" Kassy whispered trying hard to fight the darkness back. Wade took her from his fathers arms, held her bridal style he found her marking spot and sunk his Canines into her neck without hesitation, Kassy let out a blood curdling scream and with her last bit of strength she pushed Wades neck to the left and sunk her Canines into his marking spot on the right as Cilla had Marked the left side, with that she passed out and drifted into a coma like state but she was alive.

The morning after, Leah, Kami and Leah's mates arrived at the Palace, there was no formal greeting or any Royal protocols this time, all Leah could think of was her Pup and she would wage war if she had to just to get to her. 

The guards endeavored to stop her, biggest mistake of their lives with an almighty growl from her they were laying flat on their faces whimpering like scared pups.  Leah and her entourage stormed through the palace like a dominate unstoppable force, She greeted no one her face cold her eyes blazing, and fury was pouring out of her. Leah's mates were there to protect others from her and keep her balanced without their presence she would be destroying everything in her path.

They reached Tahlia's suite Leah threw open the door removing it from it's hinges her eyes scanned the room, she quieted down still heavy breathing with rage until she saw her pup laying on the bed like she was peacefully sleeping. Every body moved aside without a word Leah hopped into bed with her daughter a embraced her, Kami jumped in the other side and did the same thing. 

Leah's mates made everyone leave the room including Tahlia, they stood guard not allowing anyone to enter. 

King Damien understood, but was angry at their disrespect for his Queen he made his way to the suite seeing these powerful Alpha's guarding the door. He mind linked them all "What is the meaning of this" he asked. 

Nox replied "My King for the safety of your Kingdom you need to stand down, our mate is beside herself with grief and rage, this is the first time in her life she has lost a little control, she must be allowed to calm herself because at the moment the slightest little thing may trigger her and none of us want to find out what happens next, please give her time"

"I apologize brothers I was unaware of her being in an unstable condition please forgive my intrusion, I will order everyone to stay out of this suite please feel free to comfort your mate instead of standing at the door"

With that the king cut the link and walked away.

Leah had tears now of relief now pouring down her cheeks now that she could hear her pups heart beat.

Ezra picked Leah up and lay her on him next their daughter. Nox Jumped in next rubbing Leah's back gently while justice jumped in the bed next to Kami to comfort her. Trey and Stephano stayed at the door they did not want to risk any unexpected guests irrespective of the Kings orders.

"Lets take her home" Leah suggested breaking the silence

"My love she is Marked it is safer for her to be here until she wakes up" Ezra whispered

"She left us all but 27 hours ago, we entrusted her to this Kingdom and look at what they have let happen" Leah whisper yelled.

"They do not deserve such a gift" Leah continued as a fresh set of tears made their way down her face.

Leah's eyes glazed over and appearing in front of her was a very sad Bond maker. "Orion" Leah whispered 

" Yes Leah it is I, this is all my fault, I acted in anger when this precious ones Mate Marked another, the bond did not break so I tried to erase it, before I realized my mistake it was too late so the only way to save her was for her mate to mark her and for her to mark her mate, this action repaired and strengthened their bond thus saving her life she will wake up, but please do not blow up this Kingdom because of my stupidity"   

"Orion you have never interfered before what is different about my Pup?" Leah asked. 

Orion put his head down in shame,

"I am illuminated by her, on her 18th birthday something sparked in me, so I wanted her to have an amazing bond so I crafted it with the best supernatural essence, normally the bonds are made with supernatural essence crafted with love. Her bond was crafted with Love also, but I added a dose of light which makes her bond a little more powerful."

"I have never heard of such a thing Orion" Leah replied.

"Since time began I have never done such a thing, Selene has suggested that Fate is involved, for the most part he sits quiet but she believes he too has shown interest in your Pups destiny, I must leave, but please forgive me"

Orion disappeared and Leah had calmed herself completely as she looked around she noticed all 5 of her mates had made themselves comfortable and fallen asleep along with Kami. Leah giggled at the site "Body Guards that sleep" she whispered cuddling into Ezra closing her own eyes her rage had exhausted her.
