CHAPTER 12 FRENCH FRIES AND A HOT GUY

WADE'S POV

I walked out of the Palace holding Cilla's hand with Kassy walking on the other side of Cilla, I desperately wanted to hold Kassy's hand as well, but knew she was not ready for any kind of intimacy with me yet, I looked at Kassy and Cilla, I was one lucky wolf.

Cilla was beautiful, eloquent and oozed with kindness and Kassy, her beauty was other worldly much like her mother and sister, she was also kind but her aura oozed with dominance, strength and confidence. 

Kassy's real beauty was displayed in the fact that she was truly unaware of how she was physical and spiritual perfection, it was that or she just didn't care. 

I caught myself grinning at them, it had felt like a lifetime ago that I had been genuinely content and happy.

I led my mates to my black range rover, both of them opting to sit in the back seat together, talking, with Kassy mocking me making Cilla giggle. 

"So, when did I become the sopher mates" I asked smiling looking at them through the rearview mirror

"Sopher, Butler, Servant, don't forget your other titles and you became those things when you became our mate" Kassy replied smiling cheekily at me with Cilla now trying really hard not to laugh and Kassy motioning with her hand as if dismissing me to continue to drive.  

I sighed and could not even argue with her, the truth was I would be what ever my girls needed me to be, I just kept driving shaking my head.

KASSY'S POV

We arrived at a little vintage diner, Wade pulled up then came around to open the door for Cilla and I, I however opened my own door and jumped out of the car. 

Wade took Cilla's hand, I walked on the other side of Cilla as he led us into the diner. A very flirty waitress came over ignoring Cilla and I fully focused on Wade. 

"Prince Wade, welcome would you like your usual table" she asked running her manicured finger seductively down his arm.

I heard Cilla growl from beside Wade and stifled a giggle, my friend had a backbone after all. The waitress looked at Cilla glaring which Cilla returned right back at her.

Wade cleared his throat 

"Mm Hm ah yes Lara I would but I am fine to seat my mate and um my Kassy myself" he said looking at me as to what he calls me in public looking sheepish.

The waitress then took Wades free hand in hers and gave it a squeeze.

"Okay Prince Wade, but if there is anything I can get or can do for you just let me know, and I mean anything" she said seductively earning herself another growl from Cilla.

I watched Cilla for her next move,

"Actually Lorna, we won't need you for anything make sure we are served by someone else, I need to eat and looking at you makes my appetite disappear" Cilla said her voice laced with venom.

I giggled loudly making the waitress turn her attention to me glaring.

"What Lorna, don't get pissed at me, My friend was just being honest" I replied smiling at her.

"My name is Lara" she said through gritted teeth

"I know, I just don't care" I replied with a shrug as Wade led us away from her. 

I couldn't help but cast water and have it come down on her head I made sure it was extra cold, I heard the waitress squeal as the water made contact with her head, I turned around to look at her as she stormed out of the diner to the back ,giggling to myself I felt content.

We sat down, Wade was looking at me with an amused look on his face, 

"What" I replied innocently moving my chair a bit closer to Cilla. Wade shook his head chuckling. 

Cilla was now calm but she too looked very pleased with herself.

"What is it Cilla, you look like you want to say something" I said watching her smile get bigger.

"That felt good, you know sticking up for myself, I have never done that before" she said proudly.

Wade and I chuckled

"Stick with me bestie, and before you know it I'll have you throwing punches and dropping the 'F' bomb" I replied laughing louder.

"Ah, No you won't Kass don't corrupt my girl" he said smiling taking Cilla's hand and kissing the back of it "I like being the one to save her" he continued.

Cilla blushed tomato Red and I rolled my eyes again.

A waiter approached our table

"Hey guy's my name is Cody I'll be looking after you what can I get you" he asked smiling. Wade gave his order and then Cilla gave hers.

Cody looked at me with a smirk "and for you beautiful"? he asked, before Wade could growl I mind linked him to stop.

"I'll have a double cheese burger and fries please" I replied smiling sweetly

"Your wish is my command" he replied flirtatiously as he winked and walked away.

"Kass you can't let guys flirt with you, you are my mate and my wolf and I are very possessive" he said quietly through gritted teeth.

"Hey, I get it but would it not look odd for you to assert your possessiveness when we are hiding the fact that I am your mate" I replied calmly.

Wade looked at me and sighed 

"I will try, but please try and get rid of him and you don't have to be so nice" he replied like a child who didn't want to share his toys.

Cilla giggled putting herself in Wades lap trying to comfort the big baby, it was my turn to shake my head.

Cody came back with our food and also with his phone number written on a paper he discretely tried to hand it to me. I took it and giggled this whole thing was new to me, in my pack everyone was so open but in this kingdom even trying to pick up she wolves came in the form of an intrigue.

Cody smiled and walked away leaving us to eat in peace. The three of us continued talking, I spent my time answering Cilla's questions, she had so many which I didn't mind it showed she was genuinely interested in getting to know me. 

Everything was going well until a tall insanely hot green eyed, man walked in with a pregnant leggy blonde on his arm, he stopped at our table, staring at Cilla with a cruel smile.

"Cilla, I am surprised to see you here" his words obviously having a double meaning

I looked at Cilla and could see the heartbreak in her eyes, this guy had to be the Alpha doosh that rejected her I thought.

I stood up 

"Hello, I am Kass and that extremely hot man 'Princess Cilla' is sitting on, is her mate 'Prince Wade' I said emphasizing the Princess and Prince bit. 

"And you are"? I asked with a fake smile as I watched the cocky Alpha's countenance fall slightly before he hid it behind his arrogance. 

"I am Alpha Ashton of the Crystal Mountain Pack and this is my mate and Luna Hailey forgive me Prince Wade I did not recognize you" he replied slightly bowing.

I couldn't help but smirk.

Wade just nodded his head in response, I felt Wades dominance begin to radiate off him, I can not lie it was kind of hot.

"So, Ash, can I call you Ash, you know because we all out rank you, how do you know my Princess Cilla" I asked still smiling sweetly knowing full well I was getting under his skin.

"How do you outrank me bunny and I would prefer Alpha from you" he said now with his full focus on me

"Oh Ash, come on let us not be so formal, I mean you casually addressed my Princess so you know, I thought it was only fair for me to do the same, Oh and as for me, I am a Princess also, I am mated to a Prince " I replied sweetly

"Well in that case your highness" he said raising my hand to his gorgeous but creepy lips and kissed the back of it  "Forgive my casualness" he continued now smirking again.

I took my hand from him and rubbed it on my jeans making a show of it, like something really gross was on it. Cilla began to giggle and Wade was now smiling.

"You are forgiven Ash, now tell me how you know my Princess" I asked again.

I could tell Ashton was extremely uncomfortable now and his Mate was scowling at me, I was internally smiling at the ass wipe.

" Cill... I mean Princess Cilla was my mate, I rejected her and she accepted my rejection" he replied like he was talking about the weather.

"Oh right, Your the idiot... opps sorry I mean the man who was dumb enough to give away such a gift, Is it true you chose a... how do I say this, a more experienced lady with men as your chosen mate and if so what happened to her, I heard she had experience with nearly the whole male population in your pack" I replied innocently looking him straight in the eye.

" Princess, you have gone to far, I chose Hailey no one else, you have insulted me and my mate" he replied with anger laced in his voice.

" Forgive me Ash and Helen, I was only repeating what I had heard, I was unaware that Helen was 'the other women' " I replied trying hard not to smile

I could hear both Wade and Cilla now fighting to control their laughter

"My name is Hailey b***h and Princess or not, I will rip your throat out" the pregnant blonde snarled trying to lunge at me.

"Oh dear Ash, I have upset Helen, please escort her out, we would not want a Royal incident on our hands now would we" I replied acting shocked at her pathetic attempt to come at me.

"Please excuse us, and Princess Kassy we will meet again" Ashton said now having to subdue his irate mate.

"I look forward to it Ash and also Helen might want to wipe her mouth it's frothing" I replied showing fake concern.

"It's Hailey, you b***h" she screamed all the way out of the diner as Ashton literally had to carry her out.

"Bye Helen" I yelled back waving at them with a big smile on my face.

I turned around and sat back down with a big sigh, Wade and Cilla busted out laughing I c****d my eye looking at them smiling a triumphant smile

"Gosh so much Drama, I am exhausted" I said dramatically fanning myself with my hand.

  "Kass oh my Goddess, that was amazing, thank you so much" Cilla said still laughing

"No one messes with my bestie" I replied blowing on my nails.

We got up to leave still laughing, Wade escorted us to the car just before I jumped in he spun me around and kissed my forehead lovingly. 

"Thank you" he whispered.

I giggled "French Fries and Hot Guys all that and more at lunch, we should do this more often" I replied enthusiastically making Wade chuckle.

We got in the car and drove back to the palace. I sat quietly feeling pleased with myself but also aware I had probably just made myself an enemy.
