Two weeks had flown by, the training was over and Kassy was now standing in her almost empty room. This was her last night in the place she called home for 18 years. She was dressed in girl clothes and her farewell party was in full swing down stairs, all her friends from school and family members including all 6 sets of Grand Parents were waiting on her, she took a deep breath put on a fake smile and made her way downstairs. As Kassy entered the room she was met with the beautiful smiling faces of her family, all except her Gramps Max and the ever grumpy dad number 5 Ezra. She giggled she could always count on Ezra and her Gramps Max to keep it real with their emotions neither of them were happy with the Goddess's choice for her and they couldn't even pretend they were.

Secretly her Gramps Max was her fave, he was so good at scaring the s**t out of people and still ordered her mother around like she was a kid. Kassy made it through all the hugs and when she reached her Gramps Max he whispered "My little button I don't know what your folks have said about using your powers on your mate, but let me tell you if he stuffs up you unleash, and button I'll hide the body no one will ever find him" Kassy laughed and snuggled into her beast of a Grandfather, Max's shoulders began to move up and down now laughing with her. She stepped away only to hear one the sweetest but deadliest voice ever "Max behave! I heard every word you said, do not corrupt my Grand daughter" Her Grams Aliyah whisper yelled with an eyebrow raised.

Kassy continued to laugh watching her 5 foot nothing Grams scare her 6 foot 6 inch tall beast of a Grandfather. Max raised his hands in surrender stepping away from Kassy smiling innocently at his mate. Ezra then leaned in to his daughter "If your Grams keeps your Gramps from helping to hide the body I got you cup cake" he said with a smile and wink. It was obvious to Kassy her gramps had not been so quiet when talking to her.

Kane walked over to his big sister and pulled her onto the make shift dance floor and began to waltz with her he spun her out and there waiting was Kairos, Kairos looked at her with a smile then handed her over to Kasius, they swayed to the music and she was gently handed over to Nox who began to sing with the song playing, Kassy hugged her dad he kissed her cheek and she was in the arms of Trey who spun her pulled her back kissed her nose then handed her off to justice, Justice whispered as he pulled his daughter close "I am going to miss you my baby" with that she was taken by Ezra who lifted her onto his his feet as he danced her around the room he kissed the top of her head and she was released into Stefano's arms, he looked at his little girl and lifted he off the ground singing at the top of his lungs "Thinking out loud, we found love right where we are, baby we found love right where we are, baby we found love right where we are" the song ended Kassy was giggling as she was placed on the ground Stefano kissed the back of her hand and everyone clapped and cheered.

Wade was watching his mate quietly it was at that moment he understood what she meant about her worth. He watched the adoring eyes of her family and what she meant to all of them. He was not sure that he could break her and make her submit, for the first time he thought he might actually have to change his ways if he wanted to keep his mate, and thought was very disturbing to him. Wade had a secret, he had already given his heart to his chosen mate as a royal he could have multiple mates both from the Moon Goddess and Chosen, His father and mothers knew about Cilla and had accepted her. Wade knew that unless she was given by the Moon Goddess that this family would not be ok with it. Wade kept quiet and in his thoughts being selfish or not he was not going to give up Kassy or Cilla.

Did he love Kassy? the answer was no but he would not go against the Moon Goddess it was forbidden for royalty. The mate bond however was fully in effect with him and his wolf so even if he wanted to he couldn't let Kassy go.
