CHAPTER 14 FATE

KASSY'S P.O.V

I swayed to the music wedged between Samson and Saul, it felt amazing to just let go and not have to think about anything.  When the song was over the M.C was ready to announce the King and Queen of the Ball and their court. We were all made to stand in front of stage, Samson and Saul were not interested in it they had what they wanted and that was just to be envied. I laughed as they looked at me smugly.

"Okay people quiet down lets get straight to it the King and Queens court are Princes Samson and Saul, Miss Cilla Caves and Miss Tiffany Patel. Your King and Queen who won by a landslide is Prince Wade and your Queen is okay guys one minute, It says here Kassy" 

Samson and Saul began to laugh pulling towards the stage, Saul whispered "We didn't want to out you so we left your last name off the registration" they explained still laughing.

Cilla, Tif and Wade were already on stage and instead of Samson and Saul using the stairs, Saul jumped up on stage and Samson lifted me up to him then he jumped up, the crowd was cheering at the boys entry. Saul was still holding me bridal style reluctant to put me down, all I could do was laugh at their antics.

Cilla, Tif , Saul and Samson got their little crowns and flowers, Wade was then crowned and given a scepter, Saul was yet to put me down so I was crowned in his arms making the whole crowd laugh, it was not until the M.C announced that the king and Queen were to dance that Saul put me down grinning. 

Wade had a scowl on his face but took my hand anyway and led me to the dance floor Ed Sheeran's thinking out loud was playing as Wade held me close twirling me around the dance floor. The boy had moves all I could do was giggle, s**t between us was awkward. 

"Hey you what is the matter" I asked "You look tense" I continued still smiling at his awkwardness 

"Do you know how hard is for me to see you so close to my brothers, and have every fucken male in here drooling over you, I just want to rip there throats out" he said through gritted teeth.

"Calm down and chill, that is just the mate bond talking, you have marked me so everyone knows I am taken, you have to get a grip" I replied trying hard not to laugh, Wade truly looked constipated.

"I have marked you but nobody knows you are mine, and that mark hasn't stopped any of them from trying to approach you, F u c k Kass I can't take this s**t anymore, be mine and let the world know it" he whispered holding me tighter.

Wade grabbed the back of my head pulling me closer to his face, he was about to kiss me publicly and I could not have that.

"Wade stop" I whisper yelled

"Not on your f u c k e n life" he said pulling me in

I placed my hands on his chest and quickly cast wind putting distance between us without anyone noticing.

 Cilla was now standing to our left she had obviously seen him, she took his hand trying to calm him, and with that I bowed slightly and made my escape.

Samson and Saul were by my side in seconds both looking amused.

"Our big brother was about to lose it we see" Saul said chuckling.

"Yup, I think it's time I left boys, we don't need a blood bath or a Royal incident on our hands" I said giggling.

"We will come with you" Saul replied

"No stay, I mean I literally have to walk out the doors and head for the stairs, stay and play with the ladies, you boys seem be very popular" I replied wriggling my eyes at them.

Both boys laughed kissed me on the cheek and with that I made my way out of the ball room. I headed for the gardens instead of my suite, I just needed some fresh air and time to think.

I sat on one of the benches took my heels off and gazed up into the sky, I could feel someone looking at me. I cast light and wind the shrubs parted and in front of me stood a very attractive man, he had an odd aura he definitely was not warlock or wolf.

"Hey how ya going, I am Kassy and who might your Hot scary a s s be" I asked smiling.

The guys eyebrow c****d as he smirked taking steps towards me.

"Are you not afraid ?" he asked clearly amused.

"Should I be?" I replied just as amused.

He began to chuckle and his smirk turned into a smile.

"I am Fate" he replied.

"Fate as in lets mess with Kassy's destiny, that Fate" I replied a little annoyed.

He then began to laugh

"You know, one would think you would be a little less straight forward considering I have the power to change your fate at any given time and the fact that I am a supreme being only second to the human God" he replied still laughing.

"Yeah, Nah that doesn't really work for me, you are going to do what ever you are going to do no matter how pissed or how nice I am at you, Just one question, why mess with me" I replied still annoyed but curious.

"I have been watching your family for forever and Selene has always boasted about your families faith and obedience to her and in her, I got curious and wanted to put you to the test, I must say you do not disappoint" he replied still looking at me amused.

"Well Mr Fate I hope your laughing it up, because believe you me your s**t is no fun for me" I replied with a now pissed off expression on my face.

"You know you are very beautiful when your angry" he replied like he didn't even hear what I just said smirking at me.

"Well I am pleased you think so, you should see me when I am f u c k e n furious I am an absolute stunner then" I replied sarcastically rolling my eyes at him.

Fate began to laugh again, he took a seat next to me staring and laughing hard.

"I have not had this much fun ever, I must see you again" he replied now just smiling widely.

"It's not like I can stop you from popping up whenever you want, oh Mr supreme being" I mocked.

"I very much like you, I think we should be friends I have not had an earthbound supernatural being as a friend before" he responded

"I wonder with your character if you have had a friend at all" I replied quietly.

Fate laughed again he took my hands in his and stared into my eyes

"How about I leave your Fate alone and let Selene handle things with a promise from me I will no longer interfere and you agree to be my friend" he proposed.

"I have conditions, first of all no creepy stalking me, you must announce your presence every time you are around me and second, you mustn't mess with my family if you can agree to that we have a deal" I said smiling at him

Fate leaned in and kissed me passionately and then whispered "Deal"

"I am not sure how supreme beings roll as far as friends go, but friends don't kiss each other like that so stay in your lane" I responded a little confused by his actions.

"I know they don't" is all he said as he waved at me and disappeared.

All I could think was what the actual f u c k. I looked out and the sun was rising I had been with Fate all night and did not even notice, it only seemed like an hour or so. 

A wave of tiredness hit me so I curled up on the bench and let sleep take me. My last thought being what hell have I gotten myself into now.
