Chapter4***MEETING HIS FAMILY

When she came out, the two of them were sitting on the sofa waiting for her.

''Hmm '' The man named Theo hummed while observing her. The dress appeared quite tight on her, too tight.

''Not bad, but try this one; '' The woman gave her a pink gown this time.

''Tell me if you need a hand in there. '' She said when Tiana spent longer putting it on.

When she was done and came out, both parties stared at her, but they still didn't look impressed, the dress was okay, but they needed it to be more than okay.

The woman's eyes caught a red gown that was sticking out from the pile of dresses, she immediately pulled it out and raised it up.

''Wow! Look at this one”

She exclaimed, immediately throwing the dress at Tiana who caught it before it could hit her face.

''I think you'll need a hand on that one, '' She said and followed Tiana into the bathroom.

In the next six minutes, they stepped out.

Theo, who had harboured doubts about the colour because of the girl's blonde hair, rose a brow, taken aback by how suiting the dress was on her.

“Wow”

The girl had a beautiful curve which became more obvious by the gown, she looked like a model.

'’ I know the perfect shoes for this gown! ''

The lady exclaimed as she went to the shoes and searched through them, when she found what she was looking for, she opened the box and took it out. It was a pair of nude heels, and as she had said, it matched perfectly with the gown on her body.

The woman squatted in front of Tiana, helping her with the sandal straps, and luckily it was her size.

''Wow!, surely I deserve some accolades for this Theo, just look at how beautiful it all goes together “

She smiled brightly as she admired Tiana.

''Alright, we've gotten your dress and shoes, the jewelry is no problem, just leave them up to me.'' Thoe bagan, standing up from the couch where he'd sat.

“ There's still about two hours before six, so we'll leave you to get showered and get ready. Whatever you do, don't apply anything to your face. Leave that to me. ''

He instructed as both him and the woman made way out of the room.

Tiana watched the door shut, still with a confused look over her face. She still had no idea what was going on. Was something happening today?

Turning around, she stared into the large mirror in the room.

Truly, she was stunning in that dress, although it felt a bit odd on her, she'd never worn something as such before, it felt…too exposing.

Once she was done with her bath and fully covered in a white robe, Theo and the woman returned, this time, he was carrying a heavy box of tools, she assumed they were his makeup kits.

'' Time for the real magic '' he said as he began his work on her.

Quietly, Tiana sat over the small stool backing the mirror. Firstly, he tended to her hair, raving and pinning down strands in directions Tiana found hard to follow.

Done, he moved to her face. He was quick but attentive, like a perfectionist that wanted all angles to be perfect. Once he was through, he moved away from her, gesturing for her to look in the mirror.

'' oh my…! '' Tiana couldn't help but exclaim. She blinked at her reflection, barely recognizing herself. She looked absolutely breathtaking.

“And that's why I'm referred as the best in Astril” Theo boasted.

The lady, who had sat quietly on the sofa, stood and smiled when she saw Tiana's face.

'' Don't feel too highly of yourself, she was already a beauty to start with” she chuckled “ Now, let's get you into your gown and heels, we have less than thirty minutes left”

The woman said as she picked the red gown from the bed while Theo excused them.

Tiana wore the dress, and the woman fastened the zigzag straps to the back.

She selected some jewelry for her, a diamond necklace, earrings, and bracelet, then helped Tiana with it.

After that, she helped her put on the shoes.

'' Damn! You look ravishing! '' She exclaimed.

''Thank you '' Tiana said with a faint smile, not sure how she'd explain to the woman she'd never worn heels and couldn't walk in them. She chose to keep quiet.

''Okay, this will be your purse, it goes well with the jewelry. '' The woman said as she gave her a silvery purse.

Everything she was putting on looked so expensive, Tiana wondered how much everything would cost, the rich were just so extravagant with everything.

''Oh, it's barely five minutes left. He said he'll be here by six, let me go check”

He?

Were they referring to…Mr blue eyes.

The woman rushed out but just as she opened the door, she saw the makeup artist standing there, about to knock.

'' Hope you're done cause he's here already and says we should bring her out”

Tiana inhaled deeply when she heard what he said. Taking silent steps, she walked out of the room.

Some staffs were standing around, but when they saw her, all eyes immediately turned to her. she was a sight to behold.

Vince was standing beside his brilliant black Mercedes, he wore a black blazer with a white shirt over a black fitted suit trouser, his shirt had two buttons unhooked revealing some portions of his chest, where a faint tease of a tattoo laid.

He was on a call and had his back turned to the house, when he finished the call, he turned around to know what was keeping them, and just then, he saw her.

He watched her approach him, his eyes stayed fixed for a minute, unable to pull away, but just when she raised her eyes to look his way, he looked elsewhere.

At once, a guard standing beside hurried and opened the door for Vince who got in, immediately after, he rushed to the other side and opened the door for Tiana, she shot him a kind smile, and then got into the car, after the guard had closed the car. The driver zoomed off.

Tiana held onto her purse tightly as the car drove onto the road, there was not a single sound in the car, not even the sound of music from the radio.

The silence turned awkward.

“Where are we going?”

She asked when the silence turned too choking.

He didn't answer, but he shifted, which showed he heard her.

“Stop the car”

One order from him and the driver swerved to a low valley and parked.

Tiana looked around and there were no houses there, just grasses and little trees, she turned towards him with a little frown, wondering why they had stopped.

Vince turned to look at her, this was the first time he was really looking at her after he'd brought her here. She was beautiful, surely the artist he'd hired did a well job.

Her skin was flawless, her hair raved up, with tiny curly strands falling at each cheek. Her eyes carried an angelic feature that made her look too innocent for someone who asked him for s*x the first time they met.

Tiana blinked nervously as she became uncomfortable with his intense stare, as if he was mapping her face, she immediately looked away from him, her gesture seemed to make him realize he was staring too hard, he immediately pushed away his thoughts.

He had seen much more beautiful women, both on the inside and outside, there was nothing special about her.

''I'm taking you to meet my family” he finally spoke.
