Things were not looking good for Ben. Because the severity of his crimes, until he was proven innocent he was forbidden visitors. Each and every person that cared about Ben read about him in the papers that first morning. They have stood by my side through the agonizing three weeks it took for him to get his expedited trial. Everyday someone would run in with the paper to let us all know what state things were in. It was a terrible way to find out such news. Ben’s court date finally comes and thankfully we are allowed to sit in during the trial. It lasts for several hours, but by two o’clock in the afternoon he receives his verdict of guilty.
