Nothing Goes Right

Another long day taking care of the hotel. I don’t think I stopped moving or doing something all day. And of course, it couldn’t be a smooth sailing kind of Friday either.. It was a work hard, earn that drink sort of day. Really, I don’t think anything went the way it should have today. It would have been a complete s**t show to the public if I hadn’t kept it under wraps and fixed everything before anyone knew. There was a confusion with an order for the restaurant, which caused a delay. I heard the older Chef say in his Italian accent, “I do not cook trout! I want fresh salmon! Not frozen! Fresh!” Thank goodness he said the rest in Italian because I’m pretty sure he wasn’t saying anything nice by the look on his sous chef’s face.
