Jackson
The large meeting room was filled with the pack's most influential members. At the head of the table stood Alpha Jackson and Luna Caroline, her tablet on a stand facing her. To their right sat Lilly, the pack Beta. Her irritation was evident on her face and was making the elders uncomfortable. Cassandra, her mate Ryan, and their niece Mary sat to their left. The rest of the seats were filled with the pack elders.
The meeting was to discuss the return of Cassandra, a former member of the Luna's Guard. Jackson's plan was for Cassandra to take the lead guard position from Travis to allow him to retire and move to the kingdom to be closer to his daughters and grandchildren. Ryan was to take the Gamma position, a role that had been vacant since Jackson had taken over.
