Rowan I was supposed to be reviewing reports. Instead, I was staring at a math worksheet. Neither activity was going particularly well. "You're doing it wrong." I looked up. Eli sat across from me at the picnic table behind Calloway's community center. His pencil was tucked behind one ear. An expression of exaggerated disappointment covered his face. "I'm not doing anything." I narrowed my eyes. "Exactly." He pointed dramatically at the worksheet. "You've been looking at the same question for three minutes." I glanced down. Unfortunately, he was right. The question involved fractions. I hated fractions. Not because they were difficult. Because they were completely unnecessary. If someone had half a rabbit, the solution was obvious. Find another rabbit. Problem solved. Eli sighed
