Her face lit up with a smile when she saw the sunrise. As she was admiring the view, she felt someone hold her waist.
"Morning babes" he said, it was Samuel. He and Cherry had spent three years in a relationship. Cherry turned to see him and to her surprise, Samuel was kneeling down on one leg holding out a ring.
"Will you marry me?" he said will a smile. "I don't know what to say" was all Cherry said
"Say yes, and be mine, mine forever, please say you'll marry me, please don't make me wait, lam dying to hear it from you".
"Yes Samuel, I will marry you"
Though he was expecting a yes, he was so happy, he hugged her so tight and then carried her to the house.
"You two love birds never quit carrying your selves around" Maya, Samuel's mother said
"You're saying it the wrong way, I carry her around"Samuel said jokingly. "Oh, she better not gain weight or carrying her around will become a tale" Nora, Cherry's sister joked
Samuel put down Cherry and announced, " Cherry and I are getting married" Everyone was like "what?!" It was indeed a surprise but good news for everyone except for Nellie, Samuel's childhood friend, she was deeply in love with Samuel but before she expressed her feelings, Samuel introduced her to Cherry as his girlfriend.
The following days were busy, since they were planning for the wedding. One evening, Maya came to Robert
Maya: What are you thinking about inviting your Rayan
Samuel: I thought you'd never bring it up
Maya: You have no plans of reconciling with your brother?
Samuel: If only he could forgive me, I bet he'll come anyway
Maya: Just try
Rayan and Samuel had spent four years without talking, Samuel had caused the break up of Rayan and his girlfriend Sarah, so since then, they never talked.
