“You ready?”
Killian nodded as he adjusted the camera around his neck.
He gave Niki a wink. “Let’s go get our man.”
Niki gave him a small smile, but something seemed wrong with her tonight. She seemed bothered.
“Niki, are you ready?”
She looked up at him and nodded.
He narrowed his eyes. “Something seems to be bothering you. You better tell me; you can’t go walking in with emotions flickering on your face.”
She shook her head. “I know.”
“Tell me, so we can get it out of your head.” Killian didn’t want her walking into this situation distracted. There was too much at risk.
“Nothing. Cassius and I got into a fight.”
