I am all tangled in the sheets and blankets, lying on my stomach with a pillow covering my head. With a slight movement of my elbow, the pillow topples off, revealing the soft morning light seeping through the curtains and shedding directly on me. I let out a groan, squinting my eyes, and rest my head back on the bed. Slowly, I roll over onto my back, extending my arm to shield my eyes from the sunlight. Just as I'm trying to savor a few more moments of peace, my alarm starts blaring, jolting me out of my sleepy haze. It's blaring a random song from my music library, and with each passing second, it seems to grow louder and more obnoxious.
