TESSA The day before was a lot. Amanda had a lot of nerve accusing me of theft when that had been her lifestyle for the years I had been married to her partner in crime. The tension was high, Zane looked murderous. He was just about ready to pull out his gun and I feared he might kill someone. But he didn't. I woke up to my alarm blaring. I was in my room.
