“You never told me you had a sister, Zane.”
“I just did…” Is he for real?
I stared exasperatedly. His shrug was even more annoying than the response.
I turned to leave. He always did this, brushing me off when it came to his family. But he had already immersed himself in my family's s**t show.
“Woah, wait. Are you mad at me?” He asked pulling me back gently.
I didn't face him. I nodded and folded my arms across my chest. “I get that you don't want to share things about your life or family with me and its cool. But information like this could be really helpful. I just made a fool of myself because you didn't think to tell me you have a sister.”
He stood in front of me, eyes searching my face like he still couldn't understand why I was upset.
