I rolled my eyes and flicked his forehead, but all it did was make him laugh.
“Rest,” I said as I straightened up.
He gave me a tired smile. “I’ll sleep when everyone else does,” he said, his voice low and gruff. “But for now, I have work to do.”
“Make me,” I declared, refusing to back down. “As Luna, I demand that you take a break.”
He chuckled, impressed by my bravery. He was aware I could easily overpower him if I wanted to, and there was no way I was going to let him go to bed without getting any sleep.
“Now, go get some rest. You’ve done enough.”
