Diana’s knuckles were bruised and bloodied from pounding on the door for what felt like hours, with no means of escape and no hope for help. But she refused to give up. She continued to scream and pound on the door with every ounce of strength she had left. With all of her might, she pounded on the door, hoping and praying that someone would hear her and come to her aid. She could hear the distant sound of footsteps, and her heart leapt at the possibility of rescue. She banged harder on the door, screaming out in desperation. “Help!” she shouted. “Is anyone there?
