Laura’s POV. I knocked on Damian’s office and waited for him to open the door, but he didn’t. When no one answered after multiple thumps, I turned the handle and barged in unannounced. I paused for a moment when I found that he wasn’t the only one in the room. There were three men and a woman who was ogling him as if he were a delicious dish she wanted to taste. My pupils dilated as I flicked a glance towards him. I knew he could smell me and sense my presence, but he didn’t bother looking at me. What’s with him? “Good evening, Luna.” I nodded at them listlessly except for the woman who gave me a nasty look with her eyebrow raised.
