Laura’s Point of View.
“Welcome to our home.”
I turned to face my companions and smiled as we arrived at the pack house after hours of travel.
“It’s been a long time since I last came here. I’d say a lot has changed,” Henry observed, to which I nodded.
“Come in,” I said as I was the first to open the door.
I led them to the living room and looked around at the few housemaids who were standing nearby. They bowed in greeting when they noticed I was looking at them.
“Could you please call Damian? Tell him we’ve arrived.”
“For sure, Luna.”
Damian entered the room a few moments later, followed by Finn. He was dressed in a black tuxedo with white sleeves on the inside, black slacks, and black shoes.
What’s going on with me? I can’t… take my eyes off him.
