After going to lunch with Damian, we were pretty much like a couple. I mean, weren’t we? We grew closer, and our squabbles subsided. I learned to accept the fact that I was his mate and he was meant to be mine, which was something I used to despise. He was made just for me, and no one else.
“Since when have you become possessive of Damian?” I rolled my eyes as Leia’s voice rang in my ears.
I was never fond of romance. I never imagined myself falling in love or turning into a domineering lover, but who would have thought I’d end up becoming one of them? Life is indeed full of surprises.
“Don’t start with me, Leia,” I said, annoyed because she kept making fun of me.
I cut our link and shook her voice out of my head. I didn’t want to be in a bad mood today.
