Everyone in the living room jumped in surprise when Damian yelled. They were startled by the Alpha King’s resounding shout, which filled the entire space. They could sense his rage because ten of the best warriors had been killed after eating.
About an hour earlier, we witnessed how the poison took hold in the pack warriors’ food. They coughed and after a second or two, they collapsed to the floor and went into a seizure until they stopped breathing.
We were aware there was a traitor in the pack, but we couldn’t pinpoint who it was or how many of them there were. We didn’t know who the suspect was or what kind of poison had been mixed into the food.
