“Is everything under control, Cindy?”
Henry wrapped his arm around my waist. I nodded and returned his hug.
“Yes, but the Alpha King is furious because Laura has yet to return to the pack house.”
Henry chuckled. “I understand where he’s coming from. Even I will be outraged if you vanish like a bubble.”
“I know. Anyway, have you gotten any new information? Did they find out anything about her whereabouts?”
Henry gave a mysterious smile. “You tell me. A person under the water is difficult to find, love.”
I rolled my eyes. “Whatever.”
