"You came," Amy said as soon as she saw me walk into the living room. She was curled up in the corner of the couch with her phone. I smiled as I walked over and kissed her cheek.
"Of course I did," I said. “Camden texted that you had stopped by the shop…and we need to talk,” Amy nodded as I sat down next to her. “Where is Eva?”
“In her bedroom,” she said.
“Is everything ok?” I couldn’t help but ask.
“More than,” she said, and the smile on her face told me that something big had happened.
