“Ok…so, you and Emma are…a couple?” I asked Darren curiously. We had talked about a lot of things, but now it was time to circle back. Especially, because I had to tell him about Clark.
“We are,” he said with a nod. However, it was the guilty look in his eyes that gave me pause. “I know we…I mean, I just left you, Amy…so, I know we aren’t together anymore, but a part of me feels…” his voice trailed off, and I reached out and touched his hand.
