I meant no harm!

I looked out the window as dawn approached and strapped my Glock with silver bullets and holster to my right thigh. Val walked in as I was placing my other Glock at the small of back into the holster inside the waist of my pants. I looked up at her and gave her a small smile she was worried and I knew she was.  "Take care dear sister.... Please come home. Something about this mission feels wrong to me." She said as she chewed on her bottom lip. I walked over to her and placed my hand on her cheek and smiled down at her.  "Fear not sister dearest. I know what I'm doing and I know what you mean by this not sitting right with me I will take all the necessary precautions." I slid a silver knife into my left boot and another into my right boot. I kissed her forehead and looked her in the eyes. "Stay away from fathers house today not matter what. Go back to your home or lock yourself in here at my house but do not under any circumstances go to fathers house today."  "What if he summons me?" She asked as her lower lip quivered. I frowned. "He will not summon you and if he does you tell him I have given you my orders he will not challenge that. He knows I will stop at nothing to protect you and my brother. Even if it means going against him. So do not go to Father's house for anything. Do you understand me?" I never broke eye contact with her so she knew I was serious. She slowly nodded and stood up and hugged me. "May the Goddess be with you sister of mine." I smiled and hugged her back. "Blessed be sister, mine. I shall see you tomorrow when this is over." I let her go and gave her one last smile as I walked out of my bedroom and out the front door. I walked to my car and started it as I closed my door. I drove to the East heading into the Rosethorn pack territory. It was about an hour away from my house and I stepped on the gas harder wanting to get this over and done with sooner rather than later. My hands tightened on the steering wheel as every nerve in my body hummed with anticipation. "Nyx, Goddess of night, be with me on this journey." I whispered to my Goddess trying to calm myself. I felt a lot calmer in just saying that small prayer and I took a deep breath and smiled feeling comforted by my Goddess. I pulled up to the outskirts of the Rosethorn pack territory and turned my car off. I knew I had to walk from her they would consider it weak if I drove up to the main house. I got out of my car and locked it and straightened my spine and kept my head up as I walked into the most lethal pack in all of the northern hemisphere. As I crossed into their territory two giant wolves that reached my chest approached me and growled at me. I slowly raised my hand so they could see I did not have a weapon in them nor would I reach for my weapons. I looked at the russet colored wolf then to the gray and black wolf as my pupils dilated to slits. "I'm here to speak with your Alpha. I will not hurt you if you do not give me a reason to. I give you my word let me pass and speak with your Alpha and I will not hurt anyone of you." The red one made a scoffing noise but looked at the gray and black one who tilted his head back and howled so loud that I had to cover my sensitive ears. The gray one motioned with his head to follow. So I walked beside him so I would stay in his peripheral vision at all times. the red one followed behind me and I hissed as he sniffed at me. He rolled his eyes and kept his distance from me but still followed close behind me. I followed the gray wolf that was eyeing me out of his peripheral. I smiled at him showing my fangs in a warning. He growled but kept walking. We were almost to the main house I could see it a few feet away from us when I heard a growl and what sounded like paws pounding on the ground. I ducked and hissed right as a sandy brown wolf flew over my head and landed on the ground a few feet away from me. I hissed as he growled at me and my fangs starting growing as my pupils dilated to slits and my eyes started glowing a brighter green. The wolf ran at me and this time I ducked again and reached up grabbing him by his hind right leg and slammed him down on the ground and pressed my right knee in his side as he yelped in pain I hissed. "I meant you no harm you idiotic mutt!" Right as I said that the gray wolf launched himself at me which I dodged him moving faster than him and hissed at him as I brought my right leg up kicking him in his side and sending him flying into the edge of the house and he yelped as he tried to get up but from the crack I heard earlier when I kicked him he had at least two broken ribs. I turned my attention to the red wolf while keeping my left foot on the sandy brown ones throat. I smiled at him showing my fangs. "You want to play mutt. Let's f*****g play. I wasn't going to hurt y'all but you idiots couldn't help but to attack thinking I was defenseless." I motioned with two fingers for him to come at me as I smirked. I spun around dodging his lunge and releasing the sandy brown wolf who got up and jumped back next to the red one and they started circling me while growling and snapping their teeth at me. I just smiled and did a back flip away from the red one that lunged at me kicking him in the face as I flipped back. I pulled my silver knife out of my right boot and threw it at the sandy wolf aiming for his hind left leg he went down as he stated howling in pain. The red one looked like he wanted to murder me. I froze when I heard a deep vicious growl behind me coming from the house and so did the red wolf. I turned and my jaw dropped as I saw Calvin standing there just waves of power and authority radiating off of him in waves. I tensed my jaw as my hand went to my Glock strapped to my right thigh my hand resting on the butt of the gun ready to pull it out of the holster if I needed to. His eyes darted to my hand not missing my subtle movement and then he looked at me as his eyes dilated and growling at me. My hand tightened around the butt of the gun not liking the look he's giving me.  "You come into out territory and dare reach for your weapons after you just attacked us?" He asked as he growled and his canines started growing while his eyes pierced me to my spot. I hissed even though my heart was running wild just at the sight of him.  "They attacked me! That dumb b***h over there." I motioned to the sandy brown wolf that was trying to not put weight on the leg that my knife was in. "Launched himself at me when I was just walking with these two idiots." I motioned to the gray wolf getting up from the ground now that his ribs have more or less healed and the red one that was frozen a foot away from me. "I told them I meant not harm and that I would not hurt them unless they gave me a reason to that I was only here to talk to the Alpha of this pack and that was it." I kept my hand on the butt of my gun not backing down from him. "Your mutts started this fight I was just finishing it." He eyed me then looked at the red wolf then the gray wolf and the finally the sandy brown one. each one recoiled in fear from his death glare.  "We will discuss this later boys. Back to your positions." He growled and they started walking off the sandy brown one having problems walking wit my silver knife in his leg. I frowned feeling bad for him I walked over to him slowly showing him my hand were empty as I held them up.  "Let me take that out for you. Please there isn't reason for you to cause yourself more unnecessary pain. He growled but then nodded slowly. I approached his leg that had my knife and grabbed the handle of the knife and looked at him. "Three, two" I yanked it out quickly on two as he howled in pain. I winced feeling terrible for him and as I cleaned off my blade on my black cargo pants I had worn. I looked back at Calvin who was staring a me with an unreadable expression. "I swear I meant them no harm." I repeated.
