Yarrow was furious as he read the article in the ‘Garside Gazette.’ ‘Who’s been speaking to this rag?’ he thundered, waving the offending newspaper around in the CID room. ‘I gave explicit instructions that this was to be kept strictly within these walls.’ ‘Hard to keep it quiet, sir,’ Harding said, trying to take the heat out of the situation, ‘I mean, the mechanics in the garage know, tongues gossip in here.
