Ground ZeroC arlos Ruiz-Romero sat staring out the window of his little room wondering why he was not being taken out for his nightly exercise period. Likely it had to do with this afternoon’s excitement. Shortly after his noon meal, there had been what he presumed to be a missile launch from one of the positions surrounding the courtyard. While he was eating, he’d heard shouts and a large bang followed by a whooshing sound. By the time he’d reached the window to take a look, all he could see were soldiers running in different directions. Some of them had launchers shouldered and all of them were staring at the sky.
