"You..." Amber looked at Owen, stunned, but he said slowly, with a faint smile, "Your father will lie in it soon." "That is absurd. Dad will be just fine." "Are you certain?" Owen's pupils constricted. Amber was terrified by his expression, and she subconsciously opened the car door. "I'm ready to go home." However, Owen intervened. She was forced to exit the car when they arrived at the speakeasy. The quiet speakeasy was interrupted by a loud voice. "Owen Lynch is no longer associated with Silver Laurel as of today. All of Silver Laurel's bars and nightclubs will be sold in the future. You are welcome to continue working for me. If not, I'll give you some cash. I hereby declare that Silver Laurel no longer exists and that all of my property will be transferred to Amber." "Of course, I have something to do with Silver Laurel." Everyone in the hall turned to the door when they heard the voice. Wilson's face was pale, and he sat at the table with the people in charge of the bars and nightclubs. Everyone who had heard his words looked dissatisfied. When they saw Owen walk in, their faces lit up as if they had seen a savior. "Who said I was leaving Silver Laurel? Are you going to announce the heir today, Dad?" "That's nonsense!" Wilson gave Owen a cold stare while Owen turned to Amber and said, "Are you certain? Amber was even brought here by me." He then pinched her cheek and smacked her across the face. "Please inform your father that I am the heir!" "Amber!" Wilson wanted to rush over, but he was stopped by the people around him. "Please don't go over there, Mr. Laurel." Wilson clenched his teeth and yelled at Owen, "You filthy scumbag! Amber is pregnant, Owen. How can you treat her this way? You told me you adored her. Is this the way of your love?" Owen said with an evil grin, "Do you believe I'll let a b***h have my child? She doesn't deserve it." "You..." Wilson became enraged and waved his walking stick. "Guys, get this jerk and tie him up." When he finished shouting, he discovered that no one had moved. Wilson realized something as he stared at the people on both sides. Then he pointed at Owen and said, "Good for you, Owen! It turns out that they are waiting for you, not me. How did you accomplish it? You've recently returned from a trip abroad. How can these people listen to you?" "Of course, it's all thanks to you," Owen replied bluntly. "Me?" "Yes, you do have two lovely daughters. One of them married me so that I could stay in Silver Laurel, and the other assisted me in convincing these people. Didn't you assist me greatly?" Wilson's eyes widened in surprise. "Are you referring to Emma?" "That's correct." Behind Owen, a woman emerged from the shadows. She wore makeup and walked toward Owen, smiling the whole time. Then Owen held her in his arms. Emma looked down at Amber, who remained on the ground. "Do you remember how you treated me when you first saw me, my dear sister? You claimed I was an illegitimate child. Now I'm making you suffer. How do you feel?" Amber scowled, "What's the big deal? But seeing a b***h and a jerk is revolting." "You!" Emma was surprised that Amber would say such things. She growled and grabbed Amber's hair. "What makes you so special? You only have your father's love and a lovely face. How could you possibly look down on me?" "She can do whatever she wants because I love her." Wilson struck Emma's hand with the walking stick. Then he helped Amber up in distress. "Are you okay, Amber?" Amber's head shook. She was only sorry for her father at the time. "I'm fine, Dad, and I apologize." "Please don't say that." Wilson wiped her tears and turned to face Owen. "Owen, you want to take over Silver Laurel and be recognized by everyone, don't you? I'll satisfy you as long as you let Amber go." "Who said that I only want Silver Laurel?" Owen sneered. "What exactly do you mean?" "I want you to perish." As soon as those words were spoken, Wilson's bodyguard rushed over and exclaimed, "How dare you!" "f**k off!" Emma dashed over, stabbed the bodyguard with a dagger, and snatched his gun. Emma's bodyguard looked at her in disbelief. "Miss Emma Laurel!" Emma gave the bodyguard a cold stare. "I'm not going to keep any useless people." "John!" Wilson yelled. His body trembled, and he clutched his chest in agony. "Are you okay, Dad?" Amber yelled angrily. Wilson extended his hand and pointed to Emma. "Emma, you asked John to change my medicine, didn't you?" Emma responded with an evil grin, "I didn't mean to kill you, Dad. After all, you were the one who took me in. But you compelled me to do so. You've become obsessed with Amber over the years. When she won a trophy, you gave her half of the Silver Laurel. How about me? For ten years, I assisted you in controlling Silver Laurel. What did I get in exchange? You even planned to let me die for her if her identity was discovered. You're so cruel!" Wilson sneered, "I don't think I'm cruel enough. How can you compare with Amber? You should not have been born." Emma burst out laughing instead of being angry when she heard this. "You stated that I could not be compared to her. Do you really believe Amber is better than me, Dad? She is just a bitch." "Since everyone is here, let's see how the learned and talented Amber had s*x with men," Emma said, pulling a flash drive from her pocket with a faint smile. "Emma, you're slinging mud at me." "Hah! If you see it, Amber, you'll know." A man and a woman were seen having s*x on the bed on the big screen. Even in the dead of night, the sound of gasping embarrassed people. Amber's eyes widened in surprise as she turned to face Owen. How is this even possible? She thought. It had never occurred to her that he would release a video of their wedding night. "Are you insane, Owen?" Amber stormed up to him, ready to slap him across the face when he reached out to stop her. "You're the crazy one," Owen remarked sarcastically. "On our wedding night, you had s*x with another man. You're so horny!" "What are you on about? You're the guy in the video, right?" "Are you certain?" Owen slowly untied his shirt, revealing his backside. There was a scar on his waist, but not on the man in the video. Furthermore, the man in the video was far stronger than Owen. They were obviously not the same person. Amber was taken aback. "How is that possible? You are the man in the video." "Do you have any proof?" "This is our wedding room," Amber replied, biting her lip. Their wedding photos were displayed behind them. "However, I wasn't there that night." "So, where are you now?" "He was at my house at that time," Emma spoke in place of Owen. She then approached him with a gentle smile and snuggled up to him. "I am Owen's girlfriend." She gave Amber a provocative look. "I can prove that he was not the man who slept with you on your wedding night because he was at my house, and we did exactly what you did in the video."
