CHAPTER 14

The whole weekend, Apollo and I just spent time with each other inside of his room. We watched netflix, we played games, we... made out.
It was a happy thing for me. I have not slept in my room since Friday and today's already Monday. I woke up as usual, early. Apollo's still sleeping. It was five o'clock in the morning and at this time I was supposed to be taking a shower already, then wake Apollo up at five-thirty. But I can't move because I am locked in his arms.
I don't want to wake him up though.
"Apollo," I have no choice.
"Hm?"
"I need to get up. I'll take a bath."
I heard Apollo sighed. "Too early."
"I'll wake you up at five-thirty." I tried to remove his arm from my stomach, but he wouldn't budge. "Apollo... let me go."
"No."
"Apollo, I have to take a bath!" I slapped his arm lightly and he groaned.
"Fine." He let go of me but before I completely got out of his bed, he stole a kiss and that made me chuckle.
"Good morning." He whispered, then he closed his eyes again.
"Sleep some more. I'll come back."
"You should."
I smiled at that and I quickly went out of his room to go to mine.
After getting ready. I went back to his room and he's still sleeping. What a baby. I smiled and went closer to him. I kissed his cheek multiple times and I shrieked when he pulled me making me lie down on his bed but I am on top of him.
He smiled then he kissed me.
"Apollo.." I chuckled in between our kisses. "Get up!" I slapped his chest and stood up.
"You get ready. I'll get down to eat breakfast."
"You wait for me. I'll be quick." He sat down while he's rubbing his eye.
As soon as he went inside his bathroom, I went out of his room to go down. I waited for him and it took fifteen minutes before I saw him downstairs.
I chuckled when I saw his usual grumpy face in the mornings.
"Still hate mornings?" I smirked.
"I really hate waking up early. I can't lie about that." He rolled his eyes and I laughed.
"You'll soon love them. I promise. Really, really." I smiled widely.
He just smirked at that. The usual step-sibling, Apollo would roll his eyes and still defend that he would not love mornings, but the mister-lover, Apollo, just agreed with my statement.
After eating, I stood up and as usual I got his tie.
"You're not going with me." He stated.
"You know the drill."
As soon as I finished putting on his tie on him, I looked around to check if there's someone around. He was about to continue eating but I pulled him lightly using his tie and kissed him.
He was shocked at that but he can't hide his smile.
"You take care." I whispered.
"Oh, you, baby..." He pulled me by my waist and kissed me some more and I chuckled, then quickly stood up. I smiled, and I think my cheeks are flushed red right now.
"Why can't you be with me and I'll drop you off at the back gate?" He asked.
"I need to be early. Candy's already there."
He sighed. "Wait for me. Since Candy's there, Derek's already there, too."
"But you need to drop me off at the back gate."
His sigh sounds disapproval but I know that he knows he has no choice. He dropped me off at the back gate and I went to the library because that's where Candy is right now.
Apollo was right. Derek's with her.
"Hi! Good morning!" Candy greeted as soon as she saw me.
"Good morning, where's the baby boy Apollo?" Derek.
I chuckled. "Good morning to you both. He's still parking his car."

I can't help but blush at that.
I looked up to see that the lovers right in front of me are busy so, safe.

And just a few minutes, Apollo's here already.
"Good morning, fucker." Derek laughed.
Apollo raised his middle finger at his best friend before sitting down next to me. He then looked at me, then smirked.
"Hide, Apollo." Candy teased then Derek laughed.
"This will be the hardest time for Apollo." Derek claimed, and I agree with that.
Apollo sneaked his hand underneath the table and placed it on top of my thigh then he slowly caressed it. I know he's trying. I placed my hand slowly on top of his hand which was on my thigh, then squeezed it a bit.
"Guys!"
As soon as there were other people, I quickly pushed off Apollo's hand from my thigh and saw from my peripheral vision that he looked at me.
"Hey, Apollo. I was about to invite you guys for lunch?"
"What for?" Apollo's stoic expression already screamed disapproval.
"We have an upcoming project-"
"I have plans for lunch. Just inform us during class hours."
"Oh- Yeah! Sure.." I could sense diappointment at his classmate's voice.
Derek and Candy chuckled a bit.
"This is going to be a loooong year." Candy stated as soon as the girl was out.
"Year?" Apollo asked then he looked at me. "We're going to hide our relationship for a year?" He asked me.
"I don't know." I shrugged. "We're not even sure if we'll last long. After two months, our parents will be home and we don't know what will happen to us by then." I pouted at him.
"Just so you know, love birds, we will fight with you both." Derek stated seriously.
"We support you." Candy smiled and she reached for my hand then squeezed it.
"School will end by June." Derek stated.
"Sorry if it'll be a bad manifestation but I wish for your parents to be delayed to go home for a bit... hehe!" Candy stated but Apollo chuckled at that.
"High chance, yes." Apollo answered.
"How so?" I asked.
"I rarely see dad at home. If he's home it'll be like weeks not months because he has stayed overseas since I was 16."
I felt sad about that.
But I also remembered mom. Since she worked at Apollo's company, I rarely see mom, but it's not months, sometimes weeks, but she never fails to be present during weekends because when mom is still here, Sunday or Saturday is our fam day. Always.
"I think they'll be home for a week for our graduation..."
"Oh, yeah..." Apollo sounds so disappointed and Derek laughed.
"Candy! Lyanne!"
"Hey, Paul. What's up?" Candy greeted.
"Hey, prof just posted the duos. I'm paired with you and-"
"I'm paired with you, Ly." Drake stated.
"Sure." I smiled.
I saw that Apollo's looking furious. I looked at Derek and saw his usual resting face, but his dagger looks though are resting on Paul. Oh, these poor things.
"Oh, you boys! Stop with the killer looks." Candy chuckled.
I looked at Apollo and he rolled his eyes at me!
"Hey," I pouted.
"I hate this hiding thing." He whispered. "I can't contain my... fuck."
"Jealousy? I will not make you jealous, Apollo. I'm a jealous person so I know the feeling."
"You're a jealous... person?"
"SHE IS!" Candy answered.
Derek just smirked at his best friend.
"When did she get jealous?" Apollo's brows furrowed.
"The time-"
"Let's not talk about that shall we?" I cut off Candy and she laughed.
"To whom, baby?" Apollo asked again and Candy shrieked probably because she heard the endearment.
"To your classmate last time when she was avoiding you and you're with your classmate at the canteen that's why she didn't eat at the canteen and went out instead." Candy dropped the bomb.
"What?" Derek and Apollo both answered.
"You mean... Hailey?" Derek chuckled.
"She's not..." Apollo. "Baby, she's nothing." He is now smirking. "You saw that, huh?"
"Care to explain then?" I can't control the bitterness.
Apollo's smirking more and I can tell he's enjoying this. "She just asked someting about our homework."
"You were smiling at her."
"Baby..."
Derek laughed.
I rolled my eyes and couldn't control my irritability. I fixed my things and walked out the library but before turning into the corner, someone grabbed me and led me to a dark space where no one was around.
"What?" I asked Apollo who's smiling like crazy right now.
"God you're hot." He whispered and he kissed me softly at first but when he noticed that I parted my lips, it became wilder.
"Baby, she's nothing. I was smiling because I thought of you."
"How could you think of me while you're talking to her?"
"She asked if I had a girlfriend and... I said yes, then I immediately thought of you and that made me smile."
"You... said you have a girlfriend?" I was shocked.
"Yeah."
"You know that could spread so fast, right?"
"No one will know it's you, don't worry." He kissed my forehead.
"Should I tell them I have a boyfriend?"
"I'm not your boyfriend yet though. We're dating." Apollo chuckled. "But I'm not sharing you. I'll be selfish on that one. I want you mine."
I smiled at that.
"Is it crazy that I want you jealous?" Apollo chuckled and I lightly punched him then we laughed.
"I hate the feeling. Don't. You. Dare." I pulled his necktie to make him closer to me and our faces were so close that one movement, my lips will land on his.
"I wouldn't dare, my love." His breathing is so hot and he kissed me one more and I fell again.
"Enough." I smiled and pulled away from the kiss. "It'll be weird for a step-brother to kiss his step-sister." I joked and he smirked.
"I'll make you my wife instead of a step-sister." He pulled me by my waist and kissed my lips for a moment. "Back gate. Later. We'll go somewhere after school." He winked.
"Love birds!" Derek called and I was startled at that for the thought someone saw us.
"Time to go." Candy giggled.
I hate to hide him but it was for the best. For his image not to be ruined. We'll graduate in peace and in love. Hopefully.
