Alex picks him up because he wants to keep holding on to things right now, even though since Todd is a cat this particular activity won’t last long. “I think he missed you too,” Paul says as Todd nuzzles into Alex’s hand for an ear scratch. “We haven’t been giving him the quality time he deserves,” Alex admits, as Todd jumps down again only to wind between his legs.
