The Date

The text came through a little after 8 am, I was on my way to work and headed out the door. I stopped with my hand on my car door and checked the message. " Good morning beautiful, I hope you slept well, I can't wait to see you so I wanted to change our date to a lunch date. Would you be ok with that? " I reply smirking " I'm sorry I work until 6 pm and I don't take lunch, it would have to be dinner or maybe when I'm off we can do lunch " as soon as I hit send he starts typing " your off day is an even longer wait, so I guess I will have to wait till tonight " I giggle and reply " ok then see you later, I guess " I put my phone in my pocket and get in my car and drive the few blocks to the small baker shop I work at. Mrs Lucas gave me the job a few months ago and it feels like I've been there forever, she's like a grandma to me and since both of mine have passed I enjoy the company and stories she has to share. " Good morning Mrs Lu, how are you today? " she chuckles and stands up from between the ovens " still old and sexy baby, how was the auction. I hear you caused quite the upset " my brows furrow in confusion, " that's news to me, I left as soon as the bid for me was done " she snaps up form her bended position a little too spry for a 77 year old woman. " You what!" she cried " so you don't even know who made that huge bid for you? " I looked at her " um no, I didn't want any more trouble with the B squad so I hauled ass outta there, do you know those heffas cut my dress straps right before I was to go on stage " her mouth dropped open and she blew out an angry breath " ya know sugar, if you slap the s**t outta just one of them the rest will take a hint and leave you alone, they keep going because you never defend yourself " shaking her head she continues " stop trying to distract me, do you want to know who cast that big bid for you or not, it was the bid of the night dearie. Nobody else went that high " I turned to look at her, " you're joking " I said in complete disbelief " honey Mr Fares daughter got 9000 dollars for the animal sanctuary and that's the second highest behind your fifty grand for the orphanage " my mouth is stuck open and she passes by and closes it with her fore and middle finger. I couldn't believe it, now I was really going to be a target next time I see the b***h brigade. I'll ask him tonight why he went so high, I still don't know who he is. I must remember to ask Mrs Lu she's sure to know. I go through the motion getting the business ready for the days sales, Mrs Lu was busy in the back baking her delectable pastries. I have to fight with myself everyday to not eat anything, it's why I skip lunch, I don't want to eat the fattening pastries and I'm saving for my trip and culinary school. I'm already bigger than I want to be so no nice flaky, sweet, creamy pastries for me. I swear I'm drooling as I fill the display case, the bell above the door rings and i straightened up to serve the first customer of the day and recieve a face full of iced coffee. I'm gasping and sputtering trying to clear my eyes, nose and mouth of coffee. I know who's responsible and I wipe my face with my apron and sigh. Mrs Lucas runs from the back and picks up the phone " hello 911, yes my shop assistant has been assaulted.....no sir they're still here......yes that's right.....no if they leave the shop has surveillance cameras so you can still find them.....yessir....LuLu's Bakery.....ok thank you " Merlene's eyes are blazing in anger and she screams at me " how did you do it you fat slut, how did you get him to bid so much huh. Did you promise him s*x, that must be it, you slept with him didn't you. That's the only way a man like him would bid so much on a w***e like you! " I just stand there looking her in silence. She screams and turns to storm out of the shop, as soon as she touches the door the police walk in and Mrs Lu tells the officers she's the one who assaulted me. I tell the police I'm not pressing charges and Mrs Lu looks livid she stops the officer and tells him " it's my store and she may not press assault charges but I'm damn sure pressing charges for the damages " I beg her not to as they'll just get me back for it but Mrs Lucas is very angry and right before the police drag Merlene out she screams at me " I'll get you back for this Caruuuuuhh, just you wait and see ". Ah f**k, now I have to watch my back, two more days lord , two more days and I can get the hell out of here. I go get the mop.amd clean the floor while Mrs Lucas helps with the counters, she is still seething and barely says a word to me. I go to the trunk of my car and get my b***h encounter kit to take out a clean shirt. As I'm in the bathroom changing my shirt I get a text from the unknown number " hey beautiful, how is your morning going, you ran across my mind sooooo yeah...hi " his goofy message actually makes me smile. " you're becoming more trouble than you're worth and we haven't even had dinner yet " I put the phone in my back pocket pull my shirt down and my phone dings again " what do you mean, are you trying to weasel outta dinner " I shake my head at the screen and reply " no it's for the orphanage, I'm coming " I see that he's typing again " wear something comfy beautiful, we're not restaurant dining tonight " I reply and ask if jeans and a t shirt would be ok " the reply comes quickly " sure I'll wear jeans and a T as well, see you later Carah ".

I put my phone back in my pocket and go back to work. Mrs Lu turns around when I come back to the counter, she steps aside so I can work the register and goes back to baking, just after 5pm she tells me to go home and get ready for my dinner date. I ask before I forget again " hey Mrs Lu, do you know the name of the guy that bid on me? " she chuckles " I do but I'm going to let you be surprised " I laugh and tell her ok, I mean I could buy a newspaper or just go online. The media was outside the building I'm sure they reported the large amount that was bid on me. I drive home and call Katrina " hola chica, what's up. I saw the coverage of the auction, you made a splash baby girl " I giggle and tell her I didn't even know, I got the hell outta there as soon as the bidding was done " so you're telling me you don't even know what he looks like!" I can hear the disbelief in her voice " no girl I didn't want to have to deal with tres bitches so I just got out of there " she squeals " Care bear he is smoking hot, like the desert hot, like Mrs Lu's oven hot " she gushes and I cant help but roll my eyes " stop rolling your eyes woman " I look around and ask her " do you have a hidden camera in here Kat?" she laughs " nope I just know you that well, you roll your eyes more than you breathe " I chuckle and tell her I'm going to take a shower and get ready for my date. I go in the shower, wash my hair take a shower and wrap myself in a towel, I sit on my bed after I dry off and lotion my body. I moisturized my face and apply a little eye shadow and lip gloss, I'm not into much make up, I get my nicest pair of jeans out of my closet and pair it with a burnt orange v neck t shirt. The jeans are black and fitted as my hips are bigger than my waist I usually have to have them taken in at the waist after I buy them, they're snug but still comfortable they pair nicely with the t shirt and burnt orange wedges I put on. My phone dings and I see it's the unknown number, " come outside beautiful, I'm here " I smile and grab my wristlet and keys off the counter. I step outside and turn to close the door, when I turn around there's a stretch limo parked outside and the driver gets out and opens the door for me, I tell him thank you and I get in the car. I sit down and look up with my hand extended " good evening, nice to finally meet you, I'm Carah " I gasp and my hand freezes, he reaches across and takes my hand, turning it over to kiss the back of it, shivers run up my spine and i meet his eyes " good evening beautiful ". His smile is gorgeous like the rest of him and that deep familiar voice has me day dreaming. It's dark and sexy " Hey it's you, the brick wall I slammed into " he chuckles " so when I was getting into my car the other night you knew it was me and you didn't say anything " he shrugged and said " you said you were in a hurry to go so knowing I was going to see you the next day, I let it go " I take my hand back and I smile at him " ok where are we going " He sits back and smiles " on the date I won at the auction silly " I roll my eyes and he laughs " I know that but where " I ask, he asks the driver to get going and we just sit there looking at each other till he pulls into what looks like an amusement park but its closed to the public, he rented out the entire amusement park for the date. " an amusement park?" I ask him " yeah my bestfriend says I never have any fun so.....fun " he gestures towards the park. I can dig it but I don't like the scary rides and I'm not going anywhere near the haunted house. He holds his hand out and I take it, we walk around a bit, he buys me a cotton candy that I pick at but never really eat any of it. We go on the carousel first and he picks the lion while I ride a unicorn, it's great fun and we're laughing as we get off and move to the ferris wheel. He buys me a popcorn for the ride, I take it but I don't eat any of it, when the ferris wheel gets to the top it stops and we see an amazing view of the city, it's beautiful and I feel myself leaning into him. I sigh and rest my head on his shoulder unconsciously, when the ride starts moving again I lift my head up. When the ride stops at the bottom he reaches for my hand again and I take his, he puts it in the crook of his arm and he says " so tell me about Carah " I blush a little and shrug " she's just a quiet soft spoken girl, with dreams of feeding people amazing food one day. She likes reading, music and cooking, she basically just keeps to herself ". He c***s his head to the side and nods " ok ok " I look around and realize we have walked into a nice little garden, with night blooming plants so the flowers are actually out and it smells great. I bend to smell the flowers and he just stands with his hands in his pockets, smiling, watching me flit around like a butterfly. I stand up, blush and start to wring my hands. He walks over and takes my hand again " are you ready for dinner beautiful? " I nod and he leads me to the middle of the garden where a beautiful picnic is set up. There's blankets and throw pillows, a screen has been set up in front of the picnic and there's a list of movies we can choose from and a menu. I take my shoes off and sit up against a nice teal pillow, he shrugs and takes his shoes off too and sits next to me with his feet lapped yoga style. He hands me a menu and asks what I might like to watch, I tell him anything is fine as I rarely watch TV so almost everything is new to me. I order a garden salad, no dressing and a bottle of sparkling water, he turns to me and sighs " Carah....are you trying to be demure around me?" " you didn't touch the cotton candy or the popcorn and I told myself maybe you just don't like snacks but now we sit down to dinner and you told me yourself you don't eat lunch. Now we sit down to dinner and you order grass and water, what's up " I hang my head " I'm sure you can see I'm not your average girl I have hips and ass and I'm thicker than most, I'm trying to slim down a little before I go to culinary school. Plus my birthday is coming up so....." I hold my hands open. he reaches for my hand and kisses the back again " Carah who has been feeding you this bullshit, you're sexy as hell, I bumped into you and literally spent fifty thousand dollars for one date with you " I drop my head and blushed, he lifts my head with his forefinger and says " your body is beautiful and it's taking everything I have in me to not take you on this blanket right here right now, I'd kill to grab those hips, caress your luscious lips, grab your ass with both hands and bury my face in your breasts. You're amazing, never let anyone dull your shine beautiful ". I'm blushing so hard I think my cheeks are on fire " thank you...." oh my God I now realise I never asked for his name. I am ashamed " what's your name " he chuckles " my name is Chase " I laugh and say " thank you Chase that's the nicest thing anyone has ever said about me, I don't see myself as sexy " he inches closer to me and holds my chin between two fingers and says " I can help with that " he kisses me, softly at first but then I moan and he steals the chance to insert his tongue into my mouth, the kiss gets deeper and intensifies, he now has one hand around the back of my neck, it goes up into my hair and he grabs a handful. I gasp and open my mouth even more, he deepens the kiss and I am moist downstairs and moaning like a porn star. The guy comes back with our food and clears his throat to get our attention, I drop my head and blush, Chase holds my chin and kisses me one more time " I would like to take you out again tomorrow Carah, please " I look up from my salad and tell him I have plans with my best friend tomorrow, he looks a little sad and I quickly tell him as it's just Kat and I he can tag along. " It's my birthday tomorrow and we made the plans every since because we had to save the money to afford the restaurant, so I wouldn't want to cancel on her short notice, she's my only friend " he nods his head and tells me if it's ok with Kat he would like to tag along and celebrate my birthday with us. I smile brightly and reach across and hug him, then I catch myself and apologize. " Don't apologize I'm not sorry about it, I enjoyed feeling your body on mine " I roll my eyes and blush again. He leans over and kisses me " Carah when are you going away to culinary school?" I count on my fingers and tell him I leave in about 3 weeks, he sighs and asks if I would consider dating him exclusively until I had to go. I nod and tell him I'd like that, I enjoy his company and the kisses we've shared could start a fire, he likes my body more than I do and he's sexy as hell. There's definitely some chemistry there, spending my birthday with my bestie and Chase sounds like heaven. We didn't even look at the damn movie we spent all the time snuggling and making out. He fed me pieces of his steak, he's very sweet and did I mention he's gorgeous, " you're blushing again beautiful, what is going through your mind " I'm blushing even more now " I was actually thinking about how sexy you are " I reply and he chuckles " why thank you, I think the same about you but my thoughts would turn your cheeks fire engine red " I shiver a little and he says if I'm cold he's taking me home, I don't want to go home yet but I am a bit chilly, so I get up and put my shoes back on. We walk back to where the limo was parked and there now an SUV parked in the spot, he takes the keys from on top of the front left wheel and opens the door for me. He runs around to the driver side and starts driving, he asks me what happened on the night of the auction, when he bumped into me my dress had straps, then when I took the stage for bidding it was strapless. I tell him I had a wardrobe malfunction and had to cut both straps making it strapless. He nods and tells me it made sense, as we pull up to my house he runs his palms on his pants and looks at me. " Thank you for such a nice, fun and interesting date Chase, I had a really good time " he gets out, runs around to my side and opens the door, he helps me get out of the car and holds my hand till we get to the front door. He stands there holding my hand and shuffling from foot to foot " is something wrong Chase?" he lifts my face to his and kisses me long and hard, my eyes close and I lose my self in his kiss. " he touches his forehead to mine " I'm not ready to leave you " he says, " well would you like to come in then, we didn't watch the movie, I can make us some snacks and we can find something to watch " he says he would like that very much and I unlocked the door and we both go inside. I offer him a seat on the couch while I go to the kitchen and make some sandwiches, veggie sticks and hot chocolate. When I come back into the living room he has found the remote and is flipping thru channels, we settle on a TV show about vampires and I snuggle up next to him and eat a carrot stick. " You're staring Chase " he chuckles " I know Carah " he just continues staring and I can't take it anymore, I finish my carrot stick and turn to face him " what man! " he full on laughs and grabs both my cheeks in his hands, " do you have any idea how long I've been waiting for you to put that damn carrot down so I could kiss you senseless " he grabs my chin between two fingers and kisses me ever so softly, I moan and he deepens the kiss and sucks on my tongue, making me moan even harder. He move his attention from my lips to my throat, down to my shoulder and back to my collarbone, I swear I'm melting and then we hear someone clear their throat " I see the date went well " I jump out of the chair like someone threw hot water on me " mom!" Chase stands and walks over to my mom extending his hand, " good evening ma'am my name is Chase Lighten " she holds his hand and pulls him into a hug " anyone who's had their tongue so far down my daughter's throat is getting a hug " I blush and roll my eyes then I jump back into the chair and cover my head with a blanket. Mom laughs and tells Chase " I'm going to go into my room and leave you kids alone before Carah dies of embarrassment "

He comes back over to the chair and gets under the blanket with me " hey beautiful, I like your mom " I roll my eyes and take the blanket off of our heads " you do that a lot " he says " what " I ask " roll your eyes " he says " it's a bad habit I know but so much annoying s**t happens and I'm not confrontational so I tend to roll my eyes a lot " he snickers " ok since we will be dating exclusively for the next month or so let's make a deal, every time I see you roll your eyes I'm going to kiss you, wherever we are during whatever we're doing " I blush and roll my eyes forgetting what he just said and he holds my chin and kisses me. We separate to get some air and he chuckles " oh I'm going to enjoy this " The rest of the night goes smoothly, I've been kissed into oblivion and Chase is smiling like a damn wolf, " I bet your ex boyfriend or boyfriends never kissed you this much " I laugh and told him I don't have any exes " you've never had a boyfriend " I shake my head no " so I get the pleasure of being your first kiss? " I shake my head yes, his eyes soften and her holds my chin again " that makes me extremely happy Carah " he turns to face me and asks " so if I were to ask you to be my girlfriend would I be correct in assuming that would make me your first boyfriend " I nod yes, he rubs his chin like he's considering something " Carah, would you please be my girlfriend " he asks I look at him " are you being serious " I ask, " yes, please beautiful, be my girl ", " but we've only met today Chase " he nods and says " but I already know I want to spend more time with you, more than 4 weeks but I'll take what I can get ". " Please " he asks again and I nod yes, he hugs me and says " well I'm gonna set the bar high so that anytime you throw me to the curb, the hopefuls have a lot to live up to " I roll my eyes and he captures my lips in a kiss. " Well new girlfriend if I don't leave here now I'll have to marry you, the things that go through my mind when I'm kissing you are just plain nasty "

I walk him to the door and kissed him goodnight, watched him get into his car and then watched until the car was out of sight. I turn and lean against the closed door, smiling, I can't believe I have a boyfriend, a very hot boyfriend at that. I push myself off the door, run to my room and flop on the bed. My phone dings and I check it " goodnight beautiful sweet dreams " I hold the phone to my chest and giggle " goodnight sexy " I reply. I shower and go to bed and promptly fell asleep thinking about Chase and his lips.
