Another few days go by and I can see Damian is adjusting to my friends. Well except Natalie. She’s mostly a starer now and he finds himself scarce when she’s with us. I mean, Nat is pretty much a good soul except when he’s around. She’s even resorted to keeping her thoughts about him to herself which is all well with everyone and it’s almost like they never happened…except when she sees him passing by but we all try to ignore her ugly expressions. Then, two seconds later, she’s like a ray of sunshine again.
This evening, after school we have plans to go to the arcade again, minus Natalie. Damian again borrows my phone and we walk ahead to the pizzeria while Damian hangs behind to make his call, joining us less than five minutes later. We’re in the small arcade section while we wait
