“I saw you before he did. I watched you before he moved in this house, Sonya. I observed you, your habits, your likes, and dislikes throughout your stay here, Sonya. Furthermore, I know that he is not the one that you want. Or at least, he is not the one you NEED.” James told Sonya.
Sonya stared at James in shock, completely aghasted. Sonya felt sick as the realization set in that he was stalking her through his window, that he did wait for her and watched her do things in her house. All the insomnia and bugs hitting the window excuse, he told, was actually a lie.
He stood at his window, so he could observe her. Suddenly, Sonya felt as if someone had poured cold water on her head, and now she was seeing things clearly. This realization made her sick to her stomach.
