I woke up very easily this morning. First thing I did was shower and get dressed by the time I was done my brother was up and now getting in the shower. I was wearing black ripped jeans and a black tube top and a blue jean jacket. While he was showering I packed all of our stuff. I had worked 6 jobs for the last 4 years so I had bought my own car recently.

When my brother got out of the shower he got in the back seat and went back to sleep. I got into the driver's side and turned it on silently closing my door. I pulled out of my driveway and off we went.once we were out of pack boundaries I sighed in relief.

"Were going home" I whispered softly as I began to Ile for the first time since I arrived at that dreadful pack.

After hours of driving I finally pulled over into a McDonalds. I turned to look at my brother who was tiredly sitting up

"You want an iced coffee and mcdouble right?" He looked at me for a second then nodded a bit.

I got out and walked inside and walked to the back of the line to order our food. It was surprisingly busy for 7 in the morning give or take. I took a deep breath in and my eyes widened at realization.

Almost everyone in this place is a werewolf. s**t. I glanced around noticing that 4 people were staring at me. This was free territory so I shouldn't get in trouble and no one can shift there are still humans here.

I calmed down slightly and just looked down at my phone googling stops from here to my destination. I felt my wolf tense up in my mind and she growled. instinctively I threw my elbow backwards as hard as I could. I hit someone and they fell into a wall. I turned to see a witch and a wolf standing over them smirking at me.

"Do you need something?" I growled lowly and he just laughed. He looked like that one beta under the alpha control from yesterday?

"Awe why aren't you a cute one" his voice was like honey making me immediately on edge. He move his hand up to my face to brush some hair out of my face but I slapped his hand away. He looked offended but I just glared at him coldly. "Feisty one aren't you" he said taking his hand back and letting out a soft whimper

"What do you want from me?" I said with a low growl. He smiled and just shrugged. As this goes on the more confused I become. However I feel weird about this guy. Not a bad weird but not a good weird either

"Able!" A voice boomed through the restaurant and everyone looked at the door. There he was the beta from the other day.

"What kaine?" He snarled and turned away from me. I quickly made my order and listened to them.

"What the hell is taking you so long-" damn it he saw me! He froze and stared at me, able turnt and did the same. It was uncomfortable. As soon as I got my order I dashed out the door quickly. I got in my car and put the coffees in the cup holders and gave my brother his burger.

I went to shut the door but one of them caught it and yanked me out of the car pulling me into a hug. The other one tried to pull him off me but it just pulled me with them. Justin got out of the car and tried to grab me but he got growled at by both of them.

I let out a loud growl then used my alpha tone. "Release me at once!" I yelled and he, who I now realized was Able, let me go. I took a step away from them and stood in front of Justin defensively. "Put your hands on me or my beta and I will personally kill you both!"

Both Kaine and Able whimpered and took a step back and I mind linked my wolf 'what is going on right now why did they listen'

Being the b***h my wolf is she gave me some stupid zen awnser "In time you will know"

"That was the dumbest answer ever!" I yelled through the link then blocked the link. I turned to get in my car with Justin getting on the other side. I glared at Kaine and Abel and slammed the door harshly. They were both looking down in shame? Fear? Disgrace? Whatever it is, I'm not happy…. For some reason it kind of makes me upset. I drive off and get back on track.

We were only 4 hours away from our destination and I couldn't be more excited about that. But I knew my brother was not going to be awake for that long.

When we got there I pulled up to the largest building,which was still small. I stepped out of the car and took a deep breath "I'm back silver moon pack"

Justin was still sleeping so I cracked all the windows and locked the doors then went into the house slowly. It had very clearly been raided a couple times. And that no one had been living in it for a while. I sighed and started to pic stuff up and clean it. Everything was almost as we left it.

After whilemy brother came in and I had already cleaned the hole house and was just mending furniture with a sewing kit I found in a closet. This house work was honestly nothing compared to what I'm used to.

"Hey tomorrow we need to go to town and get supplies. There's a lot of damage to do and I need to find a job and you're gonna be going to a nearby high-school" he nodded to my plan and he looked around.

*flashback*

I carried Jackson in my arms and ran. I couldn't do anything, I couldn't save my pack. Everyone was dead because of me because I was too weak. I couldn't do anything, I just ran. I only can protect my brother at this point.

I know someone is following me. I can't lose them. They get closer and closer. I need to make it to town. I need to find help. No. This is my fault I'm not endangering bystanders. I looked around and saw a hollow tree. I put my sleeping brother in the tree then kept running. They are tracking me. My brother didn't get the alpha blood so I'm their main target. If I can get them as far away as possible maybe just maybe he will get to town and find someone who will help him.

My eyes were fogged with tears and I could hardly breathe but I had to keep running away from the rogues away from my pack away from my brother away from anyone who I could hurt. Suddenly every part of me began to hurt worse than anything I had in my entire life. I fell to the ground screaming in pain. I heard my bones break one by one. Then reform in irregular positions. I squinted my eyes as my scream turnt into howling. My hands were now paws covered in fur. I stood up slowly and felt I kept repeating this action until I was running at full speed again. I wasn't running for long until I got shot. The burning slowly engulfed my entire body.

I fell onto my side. My bones broke all over again then reformed into my natural human form. I heard the rogue catch up. It was over. I lost and now I was going to die. I heard 6 more gun shots before I completely blacked out.

*end of flashback*

I gasped for air as I moved my hand to my side. My ears rang loudly and my vision blurred. I sat down holding my ears and tried to regulate my breathing. After about 5 min I calmed down so I stood back up.

"Ok I'll cook something to eat now." U walked out to the car and brought some pancake mix and syrup along with a litter of milk I bought from a dollar general. I walked inside and looked at the stove. "Thank goddess. It's gas."
