"This town doesn't have enough werewolves for pack!" Hissed a woman.
"That's ok I was actually thinking of having everyone here join under a protection to expand the pack grounds to the town then we can have those who want to move into the packhouse and surrounding area so that everyone has some more space." I explained, choosing my wording carefully. :Of course that will be everyone's choice, not mine. I will not force anyone to do anything they do not wish to."
"Normally we would have a council of the elders make that decision. However we do not have one. So we would like you all to make that decision." Justin chimed in.
"Why should we trust you to protect us?" A younger male demanded glaring at me.
"Well-" Justin started but I cut him off.
"You have no reason to. Quite honestly I wouldn't if I were you. Very few people here know me. And those who do know me as a child. Not as I am now. Those whom I have met and know me now don't know all of me."
"As an alpha what would you do to help protect us." An elderly woman asked.
"Well I intend to strengthen everyone's physical strength and communication" I stated. "The pack bond will join many abilities and give quicker, safer , cheaper, and easier communication."
"You're still a child-." A younger woman snapped at me.
"She is 18. She is of age. And she might not look like it but she was raised as an adult!" Justin snapped back. "I your a fool if you think for a single second that Jenifer isn't strong and capable of running a pack"
"That's enough Justin." I said calmly.
A tall buff man scoffed. "Why the hell are you alpha and not him? You're a girl!"
I stood up and looked at him smiling. "Would you like to find out?"
I walked to the door. Smiling and Justin followed me out. Soon to be followed by the rest of the crowd. Justin and I stood in the middle of the road. The man spoke up again. "He's gonna go easy on you!"
My smile expanded and I spoke loudly and clearly using an alpha command. "Justin kill me" I heard sharp gasps as I watched Justin's eyes turn foggy.
He took a couple of steps before charging at me. I side stepped him and elbowed him in the side making him fall to the ground. He jumped backup and then shifted into his wolf. He circled me growling before jumping at me going for the neck. As soon as he was mid air I turned and kicked him swiftly. He went flying towards a building but hit the ground right in front of it.
"Justin stop." I commanded and his eyes returned and he shifted back wincing in pain and standing up. "Would anyone else like to challenge me?" I looked around.
When I saw no one volunteer I nodded and walked back into the diner. The rest of the conversation went smoothly.

When I woke up Jennifer was gone and Abel was pacing the room. I sat up tiredly and yawned rubbing my eyes. "Where is Jenny?"
"I don't know!" He seemed panicked. I shot up and marched to the door
door. It was locked.
"Why the hell are we locked in here like this!" I growled and tried to force the door open. I failed. I walked into the bathroom and looked for anything that could give me a clue to why I'm stuck in here. I heard the door open and my mate's scent flew to my nose so I immediately went to her.
"Stop." She said to both me and Abel and she walked to her closet. I came to a halt and looked at her pouting. She gave me a pointed look and I looked down with a whimper. Goddess it hurts when she's upset at me. I don't even know what I did wrong.
She walked over to me after putting her shoes in her closet. I watched her eyes look at me then Abel. I can tell she was with those two cocky assholes just by the smell of her. Jenifer pets my head. My wolf purred and I bent down so she didn't have to stretch up so much.
"Why are you upset?" I whispered softly. She just shrugged and moved one hand to Abel petting his head too.
"You both need to go back to your back now" she was using an alpha tone. I was upset that she wanted us to go. But she was right our pack needs us.
