miracle girl

Ryan ~~~~~~~~~~~~ When I had gotten an invitation to a tournament I wasn't going to go until I saw that it came from the Sliver Moon pack. The pack was wiped out after the Luna had given orders to the gaurds to take their night shifts off and told them all that someone else would be doing it. She then let rogues into the pack and went rogue herself. She killed her mate and the beta before I had gotten there. The rogues had wiped out well over half of the pack. I found Jennifer and Justin in the woods. Jennifer was practically dead while Justin was sleeping peacefully… he looked as though to be having a nightmare though. We had brought out pack doctors along, but I had ended up taking them both to the hospital. Jenifer had shifted that night. The stress and fear had forced her wolf out when she was still just 4. Most didn't get their wolves until the age of 10. It was completely unheard of. Not only that but she was also shot by a hunter that lived in neutral grounds. So she had carried her brother to the border of the territory then had hidden him in a hollow tree. She then shifted and ran almost into our territory before getting shot and shifting back. All while being chased by a rogue. She had Wolf bane and silver in her system when I had found her. I thought she was going to die, everyone did. Justin was forced into a coma because of the pain that was slipping through their bond. Twins had a special bond that if they are remotely close they will feel each other's pain. Justin looked so at peace though. And he was completely stable in every way possible. Jenifer was practically paralyzed. The pain was so evident on her and it looked as if she was having an internal battle. The doctors did everything they could to save her. It wasn't until an unauthorized doctor came in and cut her in several places then he disappeared. Jenifer almost blead out but as she did a pus like substance came out as well. It turned out that she was injected with enough liquid silver to kill any normal full grown wolf. This young female alpha was clawing her way away from death's door, slowly but surely. The doctors started to try to drain the silver from her system. It took 3 weeks to safely get it all out. But once we did Justin woke up. The boy had just looked around then asked for his mother, no one had the heart to say anything bad about this innocent 4 year-olds mom. After another month she woke up, and in three more months she was back to normal. Seojoon, the pack gamma was supposed to take custody of them but the elders decided to send them to their grandparents, who lived in the largest pack on this continent, because the rogues attacked the packs several more times while they were in the hospital for a year. The rogues seemed to be in search of something every time. We finally concluded that they were looking for the twins. Now that they were finally 18 they actually came back here to rebuild their pack, not only that but they are allowing multiple species into their pack, not many packs did that to their extent. There are hardly any pureblood werewolves in that area now. And because of how sheltered they were, there will be little to no werewolves who actually know and trust her. Despite that I was also invited to the ceremony. It seemed impossible honestly, all of the packs left their territory untouched out of respect for the fallen alpha. It was just in hope of Jenifer coming back to be an alpha. The wait till the day before the ceremony was long and hard, time seemed to slow in that short amount of time. When the day came we ended up going early in the morning because I was tired of waiting. My mate was confused about my eagerness despite the many attempts I took to explain to her. My Beta George and my Gamma Sam both understood though. We decided to go and leave the delta in charge for the couple days that we were gonna be gone. If anything happened we would only be right beside our pack territory so I could run there. Jenifer opened the door. She was wearing a red dress that most high-schoolers would probably wear to homecoming, no Luna would ever wear It to greet a visiting pack. I almost started laughing right then and there. This kid had alot to learn. "Alpha Ryan Luna Alexis!" She smiled kindly and shook both of our hands. "Luna Jenifer" I had almost called her Jessica out of reflexe of greeting her mother at the door. When she let us in I looked around a bit and couldn't help but feel sad as the memories came back to me. I didn't show it though. "You really fixed this place up." I must have stopped paying attention because suddenly we were walking up stairs. I kept my arm around lexi as we walked up four flights of stairs. When we got up to the top floor she led us to a room and opened it for us. "Here is your room alpha Ryan Luna Alexis" She held the door open for us. For some reason it didn't feel right having her call me alpha so as we walked in I turned to her. "Drop the formalities." She just smiled at me before simply saying "Ok Ryan" She walked off and led my pack members downstairs. I shut the door and turned to lexi. "So is that the miracle girl you were talking about?" Lexi asked me confused. I nodded. "Yep!" "She's pretty immature, but she's polite." Lexi concluded as she walked around the spotless room that we were given. "Yes, but she wasn't raised to be an alpha. She was raised as a normal wolf. Nobody thought she would have ever come back to rebuild the pack." I admitted. "I just hope she is strong enough to lead and protect this pack." I sighed.
