I knew the second I heard this guy talk to Jen that this would happen. She always gets caught up in her games. You could say 1 word to her and you've already fallen into a miserable trap, one that you're not even aware of until it's too late. Surprisingly Nathan had caught on to all of them, so when Jen and alpha Hendrix left my sight I knew there would be a fight and looked at Nathan who was seconds away from laughing. Alpha Ryan and Luna Alexis were visibly confused. The yelling began then it went silent for a moment and the yelling came back much louder this time. I winced at the pain that grew on my arms and knuckles. Everything suddenly went quiet and I faintly heard her apologizing for bothering someone. Then I didn't hear anything further besides someone slamming a door. I sighed as Nathan burst out laughing.

"What the hell was that!?" Alpha Ryan yelled.

I gave him an apologetic smile. "She really doesn't like when people assume that I was the one that inherited the alpha gene. It's a blow to her self-esteem." Nathan walked over and set a tray that had a couple different types of food on it, he was still laughing.

"Ya and she's been on edge since those two guys left, I'm surprised she didn't mark them both as soon as she smelt them. But nope! She just passed out!" He kept laughing and I couldn't help but laugh too.

"She passed out when she caught their scent?" Luna Alexis looked concerned.

Nathan and I stopped laughing and sat down on the couch. "Yep. She froze up and grabbed her side and stared off into space for a minute before passing out." Nathan explained. I nodded along remembering Abel, Kaine, and Nathan all telling me something similar to that.

"Yes, it was rather strange actually I've never seen her pass out like that, Jen has always been very composed, even when in a lot of pain." I couldn't help but frown at all the memories of her breaking bones and standing up acting like she was fine. Most of the time she would keep pressing buttons and sticking her neck out to distract from all the stupid things I did. Jen truly is a good person, but if she doesn't trust you, she's 11playing with you in some sick game that she has concocted. I sighed and leaned my head back. There was a knock on the door so I got up and opened the door to see a short muscular boy, he must be the beta. "Hello, welcome! You're Beta Daniel correct?" I reached my hand out to shake his hand. But he was staring straight past me.

When I turned to see what he was looking at I got shoved out of the way by Nathan who got tackled by the beta. I blinked a few times, trying to process what just happened. I heard someone laughing their ass off. I looked up to see Jen and alpha Hendrix coming down the stairs and laughing. When I looked at the floor I saw Nathan on his back with the short beta on top of him. They were in the middle of a heated make out session. I stepped over them and walked to the couch again. Alpha Ryan and Luna Alexis were laughing as well.

"I'm still expecting you at training in the morning Nathan." Jen finally said, gaining back her composure. Nathan groaned and sat up a bit. "But you can go to your room upstairs for now, just don't be too loud . I already pissed off Michael by being loud." Nathan laughed.

The Beta growled at Jen, most likely for distracting Nathan. Nathan smiled at him and stood up then pulled him up as well. I watched Nathan and the short man both run upstairs. "So it was Michael and Konner who shut you up this time?"

She sat on the couch and crossed her legs. "Yes." I looked at her and she had a couple bruises on her arms her knuckles were red and her hair was all f****d up. I sighed at my wasted hard work.

I walked behind the couch and began to fix her hair the best I could. "Why the hell do you have to be such f*****g brutes!" I huffed.

"I don't know Justin why do you have to be so f*****g pressy!" She growled.

"Oh I'm so sorry I happen to have manners!" I growled back and yanked the chuck of her hair that I was holding.

She swung her hand back to hit me so I quickly jumped back. "You wanna f*****g go b***h!?" She turned and glared at me.

"You're only mad because you know I'm right!" I pointed at her. She turned in her seat and for a second I thought I won but she took her heel off and threw it at me. My life momentarily flashed before my eyes. I ducked but as soon as I did she threw the other one. I started to jump up but it hit me in the balls and I fell back to the ground in pain. Both Alphas winced and Alexis and Jen started laughing hysterically. "f**k you!" I growled as I put my forehead against the floor.

"It's your fault for trying to jump up!"

"Don't pull that bs on me!" I snapped.

"Justin." She growled at me lowly and I shot a glare at her but shut up nonetheless. She got up and walked over to me, picked me up, then dropped me on the couch.

After about an hour everyone had eaten and Jen had become restless once again. I know that she was tired of sitting still. Jenny has always struggled with sitting still for long without either becoming antsy or falling asleep, so these kinds of things weren't suited well for her. She might be adhd or something but I don't know. We've never been tested for anything like that. I mind linked her. "Ask to show them around the territory."

She perked up. "That's a great idea!" She said out loud and turned to face everyone. "Would any of you like to look around the territory? I can introduce you to some of the locals."

Alexis smiled getting up. " Of course, I just need to change first."

"So do I." Jen smiled and stood up as well. They both bowed slightly while excusing themselves before going upstairs to change.
