DOLL - Hey Daniel? What are you thinking about?? Is everything fine?

DANIEL - I... I was just wondering how the classes are going to be.

DOLL - Oh, don't worry about that. She is nice.

The teacher entered our class and appreciated Allen for coming early again. She also welcomed the new student Daniel. Then she continued her lecture.

HOURS PASSED

ALLEN - Hey Doll? 5 minutes more... After that, let's meet at library.

As soon as the bell rung, he rushed out. I quickly packed my bags to leave.

DANIEL - Are you going?? Like I am new here... Won't you show me around?

DOLL - Well.. I have to meet Allen in the library. We..

DANIEL - Is there something between both of you?

DOLL - No no... It's that...

DANIEL - Cut that crap. You used me when you wanted to share your emotions with. Even when I didn't have time, I was still all my ears for you. You are so selfish. I thought we were besties. (sobbing)

He started tearing up and that hurted me. I never thought this would happen. How selfish can I be.

DANIEL - (wiping tears) Really? Then I will buy you coffee.

I couldn't say no to him. He was right afterall. I quickly took my phone and texted Allen saying "I can't make it today. Let's talk in the phone, like once after I reach home, I will call you." He agreed to it and so I took Daniel with me.

I showed him the canteen, Computer labs, Practice labs, Staff room, Library, etc..
Once after that, I decided to leave home... but he said no.

DANIEL - You promised me for a coffee too. You can't leave this early.

I nodded. We went to the near by coffee shop and ordered for 2 cappuccinos.
I just wanted to get home. But I didn't know how to tell it to Daniel.

DANIEL - Are you uncomfortable? Do you want something else? Are you hungry?

DOLL - No, Thankyou. I am fine. I just want to...
.
DANIEL - You know what? I thought there was something between you and Allen. How stupid I was.

DOLL - Well the thing is...

DANIEL - Let's take a selfie. (click click) My first selfie with my bestie. I am so happy. You know what I never had besties before. You are my first ever bestie. You are so sweet.

After hearing that, i didn't want to disappoint him. I thought of staying a little longer with him. Whenever I started talking about Allen, he ignored or interrupted me. He also said that he hates Allen and doesn't wanna listen about him from me. All I could do was, fake smile and nod to all the stories he was saying.

I saw the time and I was getting late. I decided to leave and he finally agreed. I quickly started rushing out and he said he would drop me. But I refused it and started walking faster. Once when I reached home, someone called me from my back. It was Daniel again. Was he behind me? Was he following me?

I was shocked. But he quickly held me closer and took another selfie and started waving his hands. He said he walked behind me to protect me from strangers. I have never seen him behave like this. This felt so weird.

I entered my house and took a shower first. Mom had prepared my favorite dishes. I ate them all. And then went inside my room. I took my phone and decided to call Allen.

We had a good talk. I told him how me and Daniel met, I also told him about the weird behavior of Daniel. We spoke for more than an hour.

That was really a good talk with him.

Once I hung Allen, I got another call from some unknown number.

DOLL - Hello?
.
UNKNOWN - It's me?
.
That was Daniel. How did he get my number?
