DOLL'S POV

I was walking on the footpath thinking about tomorrow. I was really excited. I couldn't wait to see him beside me every morning when I wake up.
I started giggling and blushing all by myself. People where watching at me, but I didn't care.

My dad always said, "If u wanna be happy, stop doing things for the society. If you wanna be happy, do what you love and don't think what others would talk behind you."
He is right. You have only one life. All you should do is to live for ourselves and not to please anyone.

I was humming and hopping to my home. As I reached home. I saw dad asking mom about what kind of snacks he should bring for Allen's family tomorrow.

DAD - Oh? Doll is back. How was your day?

DOLL - Great dad.
.
MOM - Listen? He will come tomorrow, right?

DOLL - Yes mom (Shy shy)

DAD - Look at her be shy(staring at me). You won't marry him tomorrow. You are in final year right? So once after you both start earning and can stand on your own legs, we will get you both married.

MOM - What are you talking about? She is 22. She also knows it.

ME - Yes dad, I will marry once after I get a job. (Shy Shy)

Once after a lil funny conversation, I moved to my room. I quickly got fresh up and went for my dinner.
After dinner, I decided to wear a light blue dress. I set everything for tomorrow and went to bed.

NEXT DAY MORNING

I was so super excited and nervous. I quickly took a shower and wore my dress. I also did a lil makeup. I made a messy hair bun too. I guess I look pretty. I started blushing infront of the mirror. I then went to the hall to check my parents. My mom was wearing a beautiful saree. And my dad had his suits on. Dad was cleaning the hall while mom was cooking something for them.
As soon as dad saw me...

DAD - Wow! My angel looks so beautiful.

MOM - Oh ya! You look gorgeous honey.

DOLL - Thankyou mom and dad. Well how can I help you both?

MOM - Nothing much to do dear. Can you just call Allen and ask him when they are coming?

DOLL - He had texted me saying he will be here by 9.
.
DAD - Oh no, Its 8:30. Let me get some snacks.

Dad quickly rushed out and mom speeded up her work. I got back to my room.

Knock Knock...

Off course, it was Allen and his family. My mom welcomed them inside. Dad brought some snacks and placed it on the table. Allen winked at me making my heart flutter. He bought me a beautiful bouquet of white lillies and gave it to me. My phone started ringing. It was in my room. I quickly bowed at them and asked them to excuse me. I rushed to my room and picked the call.

My parents asked them to be seated. I could hear all of them giggle. My parents made it clear that they will allow for the marriage only if he starts earning.

I hung my phone call and sat on the chair not knowing what to do. I never expected I would get a call like this. I decided to text Allen about this from my phone.

Allen wasn't online. And so he didn't see my message. I was really getting stressed and nervous. I prayed for miracle.

I widened my eyes. My heart was bumping so hard. I couldn't move because of the fear. He is here.

I suddenly heard some things fall on the floor. I heard him yell. I decided to go check. I could hear only objects falling and him yelling.

I held my gutts and checked who it was.

Yes it was him. My "brother".
