MOM - Shut up, you have no rights to talk. You think that I won't find out.

ME - Mom I can explain...

MOM - Explain what? Lets go talk in your room. Get in.

She walk towards my room and I followed her. Her face looked like she was about to erupt soon. Oh my. She is gonna beat me. Oh god save me please.She asked me to lock the door and sat on my bed and I stood infront of her, bending my head.

MOM - Where were you this late?

ME - I.. I was at Li...Lia's house.

MOM - Morning?

MOM - So you are saying that you didn't go to any other place. Right?

ME - Yea... yes mom.

MOM - So you are not lying? (She stood up from the bed)

ME - Mom, I well...

MOM - What are you getting scared for? I just felt like I saw you in the hospital today. May be someone like you. Nevermind, I need to talk something personal with you. I... Kind of...

Tears fell on her cheek, I was shocked to see her teary eyes. I made her sit on the bed and I kneeled down looking at her. I held her hands tighter and

ME - Mom what happened?

MOM - "I went to the hospital early morning to meet Maria aunty's son who was admitted there. On the way back home, I felt tired and drowsy. So I decided to drink a coffee at the coffee shop where that Allen's incidence happened. After a lil relaxation I stood to leave. The staff there suddenly recognized me and rushed towards me. She spoke to me. She said Ricky was dru.. drunk that day (sniff... sniff). She also said that Ricky often comes to that coffee shop and bullies other customers too. She said it's all because of his drinking habit. I never knew he had a drinking habit. (sobbing) I trusted him so bad. But... He (sob)..

ME - Relax mom. It's okay. (I stood up and hugged her and patted her back comforting her)

MOM - Take this.

She handed over a small package and asked me to open it. I quickly opened it. I was excited to know what that was. And that was a new phone. Even after all these troubles and problems we face, she still bought me a phone.

ME - Why did you buy this now?

MOM - That's okay. It's just a phone. And a phone is really important. Also, take this as the way of an apology.

I hugged her tighter.
I always felt heart broken when I see her in pain. She was sad and broken since the day Allen's parents filed a case against Ricky and later Ricky was taken into the police custody and they remanded him according to IPC section 307 for the attempt to murder. She never thought that he would have a future like this. I patted her back and told her to calm down. I also thanked her for trusting me and finally believing me.

MOM - Doll! How about... (snifff..) we go meet Allen tomorrow?

ME - Not required mom, that may worsen the situation (I smiled). I have told Lia about this and she said that she will take care of the rest.

ME - Okay Mom! Now lets go eat something.

After the happy dinner, She went to her room and sat on her table. She was really happy that her mom finally understood her. She took her diary and started writing down.

ME - I am really thankful to the God. I hope Allen starts talking to me like before.

ME - Finally. (stretching her hands)

She closed her diary and kept it aside. She then switched off the lights.

She wakes up as usual and gets freshed up. She wasn't allowed to go to college because of Allen's accident, she instead decided to go to the library. Since she was getting late, she started eating something from the kitchen.

ME - Mom? There is someone at the door.

MOM - Can't you go check?

ME - I am in the kitchen. I am busy eating.

MOM - Stop munching and open the door, I am busy watching Doremon.

DAD - Ah! These two.
Her dad goes and opens the door.

DAD - Come in.

Looking at the guests, Doll and her mother's eyes got wider.
