There was a popular bedtime story that every parent told their child. A story about a witch, a knight, and a star.
Once, long ago, there was once a bright star in the sky. It was said to be the brightest star in the sky.
One day, a star fell in love with a knight, but it was forbidden for a star to love a human. The star begged the sun and moon to let her be with the one she loved. The sun and moon felt sorry for her and gave the star a human body and sent her to earth.
When she met the knight, the knight instantly fell in love with the star and the two lived together happily. Both the sun and the moon, even the planets rejoiced with their love.
Except for one witch. The witch had fallen in love with the knight long before the star did, which was why the witch felt so much resentment towards the star.
In her anger, the witch cast a curse on both the star and the knight, “If I can’t have my knight, then neither can that cursed star! I will separate them! And they won’t even remember each other when they cross paths! The knight is mine, and mine alone!”
The witch had cursed them to never meet again. The sun and moon could not sit idly by as the witch cursed the pair, but there was nothing much that the sun and moon could do.
The planets gave a small piece of themselves to make an invisible string called “The string of fate” and tied it to the knight and star in hopes that the knight and star would meet again and break their curse with true love.

I opened my eyes. It was Saturday today. I had that weird dream again. I got up and went to the kitchen in my small apartment and cooked my breakfast.
After cooking, I sat down at my table, ready to eat, when suddenly my phone rang.
I checked the caller's id to see my friend’s name on it.
“Hello?” I answered the phone.
“Kaiyo!?” Screamed Akane on the other side of the phone.
“I don’t know, is there another Kaiyo in your contacts?” I said sarcastically.
“Yup, definitely you, quick! Turn on your TV!” She screamed in my ear.
I obediently turned on my TV and saw that the morning talk show was on.
“Mm, Mayumi Nakazawa just announced her new art exhibition in Tokyo,” I nodded in interest.
“What!? No! Turn it on channel 17!” She screamed again. I lowered the volume on my phone, then changed the channel.
Then I saw an interview going on with the “Stardom” Boy group.
“So where are you heading to next for your tour?” Asked the interviewer.
“We’ll be having our next concert and meet and greet in Osaka next week,” smiled Natsume Ito, the leader of the group.
I suddenly heard a screech from my phone. Even if the volume was low, Akane's voice still sounded so loud.
“I pity your neighbors,” I said, lighting a candle for her poor neighbors.
“I don’t care! Nothing is going to ruin my mood now! Ah! I can’t believe that Stardom is actually going to have a meet and greet near my area! Aaaahhhhh!!!” She screamed.
My ears were ringing at this point. “You better not be late!” She told me.
“Late for what? It’s still next week.” I said, confused.
“But those tickets won’t wait for next week! Meet me later to get those tickets because I’m not saving you a spot!” She said excitedly, then she ended the call to presumably prepare to go out.
I put down my phone and scratched my ear. “Now, where were we?” I asked no one as I finally got to eat my breakfast.

Stardom had just finished their announcement of their next destination and I waited for them with 5 bottles of water in my hands and 5 towels, 2 on my neck, 2 on my arm, and the last one on my other arm.
“Oh, hey, assistant boy!” Called Roku Takahashi, the 4th member of stardom and the bad boy of the group.
I handed him a water bottle. After taking one sip, he threw the bottle at me.
“Whoops, sorry, bud, my hand slipped,” he laughed as I stood there drenched.
“Why are you always so mean to Fukasa! Here let me help you,” offered Rentarou Yamamoto, 5th member, the cute, innocent one of the group.
“Oh, wow how nice of you, Rentarou,” snickered Kaito Suzuki, 2nd member, the playboy.
“Come on guys, Fukasa-kun is only doing his job, there is no need to pay that much attention to him, it'll only makes us look bad,” said Wakatoshi Nishimura, 3rd member. He takes care of media attention and the image of the group, labeled as the serious one.
Wakatoshi helped me up and gave me his towel and told me to go dry up.
“Wakatoshi is right, stop fawning over the assistant, and let’s go,” Natsume looked at me coldly and they all left. I went to the bathroom and dried myself off.
I looked in the mirror and scowled. “Bear with it. As soon as I get to Osaka this nightmare will be over.” I punched the sink in anger and looked up again.
“Ugh, the dreams are back,” I splashed my face with cold water again and wiped it off.
I looked in the mirror one last time and left. ‘Seven more days… I can leave in seven more days,’ I thought to comfort myself.

Me and Akane got the tickets without a hitch and even got VIP backstage passes. It turns out Akane had been saving up for this for months and I have no complaints. But I’m beginning to think that this wasn’t very healthy, but then again, I have an anime collection worth more than my apartment, and have a cat named Luna who I dress as sailor moon every chance I get, so who am I to judge?
