I woke up and saw Serena looking down at me. “Huh.” She said. “You’re alive.” She moved away and started to put a bunch of stuff into my bag.
“What happened?” I asked as I tried to get up. I gasped and fell back down when I felt the pain on the right side of my stomach.
“You were stabbed. Kero saved you.” She said.
I looked at her. “Am I okay?” I asked.
She nodded.
“Where’s Kero? Is he okay?”
“He’s somewhere and yes. He is.” She then walked away.
“Wait! Where are you going?” I yelled.
She turned around. “To sleep.”
I frowned at her. Wonderful. She was leaving me here alone.
When she was gone, it was quiet. I stared at the sky, wondering what Kero was doing. I wanted to see him myself, to make sure that he was okay.
