First, there was an unbearable screeching noise, then, all I could hear were birds. It was dark and a bit scary but the birds sang beautifully. That made everything nice. But then I realized I was wet. Soaked, actually. Not to mention the strange pain I felt on the back of my head.
“Aathy?” I heard. It took me a second to realize that it was Chirpy’s voice. “Aathy? Are you ok?” There was a pause. “Guys! She moved!” He yelled.
I could now smell Kero’s nice scent. “She did?”
“Yeah! I swear! I just saw her move!” Chirpy said. I could hear relief in his voice.
“Can we just dump her here and leave?” I heard Serpethion ask.
God, he is such a jerk! I thought.
“Aathy, common, wake up!” Chirpy said.
I groaned.
“See! See! I knew she would be okay!”
