The beginning

Cherlyn’s POV

I stood in front of a tall, luxurious building, a place where all my revenge began, a place where my parents car crash, a place where the most suspicious suspect is, a place where my revenge will begin….

“You got this, Cherlyn.” I breathe in and hold my breath for a second before letting it all out’ “let the game begin”.

I walked into the building with my resume and some files in hand.

“Hi there, how can I help you miss” the reception ask as soon as I appear in front of her.

“Hi, I’m Cherlyn Cherlilia, I’m here for an interview”, I smiled and answered her in a calm tone.

“Absolutely!”, she replied with joy, “ This way please miss Cherlyn, the hiring team is waiting for you”.

I walked behind her as she leads me to a small meeting room. There stood 2 middle-aged women and 1 old man. ‘Probably some human resource staff and the security’ I thought.

“Hi miss Cherlyn…”

There goes the interview, normal and boring as usual. I speak with a confident and sincere voice answering all their questions. Nonetheless, why would they put so much effort in hiring a maid… yes, you heard it right, I’m applying for the position of the “maid”.

The reason? Pretty easy, I need a place where my identity is kept secret but is able to get close to some secure place and allowed me to become invisible in everyone eyes especially the CEO, Zealer who appears to be a billionaire at a young age but little did other people know that he is the mafia boss of the top three largest organizations in the world and he is the one I suspected the most in my parents’ mysterious death.
