That was the longest day ever. After confronting Buck, more like throwing myself at Buck, I spent the day mentally beating myself up. Not an easy task staying focused on work while doing so. Even harder keeping it from showing on my face from my observant best friend and colleague. Lunchtime, I avoided the kitchen in case he was there, so it was lunch in the carpark for me. The worst part was the amount of times he was required to front or needed to check pricing on the shelves in the row directly across from my counter.
