I jumped in the passenger seat and clicked my seatbelt into place. Turning to Buck, I summoned the best 'you are in so much trouble' look and waited for him to notice. It must have been a convincing look because he did a double take as soon as he saw it. "Don't go thinking that I've forgotten about our conversation earlier." He kept his eyes on the road, either being a responsible driver or not daring enough to look at me again. "I will answer any and all questions" he promised, turning the car onto the highway and heading towards Katoomba. "After you've seen the doctor, I promise."
