Chapter 11 - A Hunting We Shall Go

I screamed at the top of my lungs, spinning around and snapping at the massive tomcat with my teeth. He skillfully dodged each attempt I made as I struggled against the weight pinning me down. Growling, hissing and spitting at him, finally gave him the hint to get off of me. Jumping to my feet, I tried to mimic the best attack position I could think of and faced him. Just the size of him made me take several steps backwards. He must have noticed and lowered himself closer to the ground. He looked up at me with a sidewards glance, exposing the vulnerable flesh under his neck. I took that as a gesture of goodwill and relaxed my stance, keeping a safe distance between us. He made a funny twitching motion with his head and turned to walk away. Standing there, dumbfounded, I just watched him.
