I sat upright in bed, the visions of my dream still swirling around my mind.
"What's wrong, babe?" Buck sat up next, placing his hand on my back trying to reassure me.
"Just a bad dream." I slowed my breathing and lay back down to try and sleep but the nightmare wouldn't leave my mind. I tried rolling over to get comfortable, nothing was working.
"Michael told me about what happened to you. Do you want to talk about it?"
"Not really." I rolled over, laying my head on his shoulder. The vision of Amyleigh and David being chased by wolves still fresh in my mind. "I'm worried about my friends."
"I've organised for you to be escorted into town so you can go see them tomorrow."
"Really?"
"Of course, I know how much they mean to you."
