We headed through the kitchen and into one of the back rooms. In the far corner was a heavy wooden door. Buck pulled out a large silver skeleton key and unlocked it. Pulling the door open he stepped aside to let me pass. I was expecting an argument with him about me seeing the prisoner but he didn't say a word. I made my way down the stairs with Buck and Ben following close behind. The room opened up into a large space with floor to ceiling cell bars splitting the room in half. The cell had a metal toilet in the corner with a matching sink. On the other side of the cell, there was a decent-sized bed with a thick spongy mattress and a couple of pillows and blankets. Why didn't I get a prison cell like this? The prisoner was sitting on the bed staring back at us. He had dark hair and bla
