"Jim Beam and coke, and a scotch on the rocks, thanks." I bark my drink order to the barman and turn to survey the room. There had to be at least thirty people and I could only name ten at the most. The Salon Du Bar room was beautiful. The walls were a blood red colour with a mural of the construction of the snowy mountains hydro plant, running the length of the room. The carpet was black with red roses and swirling vines, and the padded armchairs were a mix of blue,red and gold. Gold chandeliers hung down from the ceiling at equal intervals like golden orbs.
